I want them to take their time on this game. I've been a Total War fan since shogun and hope they never stop making and improving these games. Its one of the few series that I go out and buy and don't even bother pirating it to see how good it is before hand. The more time they take the better the game is going to be trust me.

I may actually give multiplayer a shot on Empire. I never liked the idea of single battles where people choose what units they have so I never really played multiplayer before. But having a campaign will make it worth it. I hope they give mini ones as well though because taking the whole world in one sitting would take forever and I doubt I will find many people willing to reload a saved game 20+ times before we are done.

Yeah, MP isn't for me unless they somehow manage to make it not just a combat experience but a world map view experience as well. They can get rid of the turns for MP, and integrate a slowly moving time schedule or so for the sake of MP.

Multiplayer campaign doesn't mean multiplayer battles. While it would be logical for them to include this, without confirmation I'm worried that it will just be the campaign and auto-battles only.

there's no reason NOT to have them within the campaign aswell

Yeah man, that sucks. Ive been dying to play this since I heard about it. And I got my gpu basically just for this game cuz I heard its gunna be graphically intense (the sea battles and shit).
