try uninstall videocard drivers (as they are almost certainly at fault), reboot into safe mode and clean the rest with drivercleaner and then reinstall the drivers in normal mode
if it still happens, repeat the steps and get different version drivers
unless if you've added a piece of hardware or updated/installed some drivers recently
or a game that has starforce or some shit like that

HELP WITH END OF CAMPAIGN
i kidnapped the bitch with pink car and took a pic of her ugly mug
i had to wait forever before packie contacts me again....why? nothing is happening
i have nothing left to do, i got 80% done with roman and 60% with gerry left
everything else is 100% complete campaign wise..
but 58% total...

I hope you're being sarcastic, 20 fps is NOT fine... It's choppy as hell ffs. At least 30 fps, minimum. While driving, yeah, 20 fps works, but once you start shooting (think MP) you're fucked if you've only got 20 fps.
And no, Rockstar should get loads of shit thrown at them for releasing this lame ass port. You just don't do that. I bought the game, because I know they'll fix it eventually, they stick with their games. But doesn't mean I'm not pissed and disappointed. |

Beat some 20%ish of the game. The game got boring and dull to me. Uninstalled. It's a mediocre game imo. Am happy i saw what the game looked like. Bad-coded port + uninteresting gameplay. Story was ok. Well, looking forward to the next gta.

I felt exactly the same. The 360 one bored me after a while too .. then SR2 came out and GTA4 lost that battle. Hard.
Rol on the PC version!! Hey, Volition know how to optimise their fucking games ^_^

the game worked for me with the 180.48 drivers no problems just ran like shit but now i installed 180.84 and i have the missing and dissapearin texture problems.. what do i do?
