Aye, like "The Hulk" and the broken mess that was "Spiderman 3"
Crackdown was pretty fucking ace though, even if the main reason people bought it was for the hideous Halo 3 beta.

Haha, didn't have the chance to play Crackdown, but I've hear it's pretty neat.

You've said it! But, it's too good to be true... surely it's an announcement.

Yep, it looked great and it still does. But Assassin's Creed looked great too, and aside that it's not a bad game, is repetitive as hell.

Agreed. I *loved* Assassin's Creed .. but the monotony of the missions means I've only finished it once :-\

A shame. I'm really excited for a few games like Alpha Protocol, new Red Faction, Mafia II and Prototype. They can't all disappoint.

You're right. But I want to tempt fate about one thing, and one thing alone. Brutal Legend for PC. EA MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!

Yep, BrĂ¼tal Legend is being developed by Tim Schafer who did Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle and the awesome Psychonauts.

I miss the old LA, when they had fun and inventive staff .. and I always hoped for a remake of the stonking X-Wing/Tie Fighter series.

A great game that looked awesome too, considering how old it was and that it was running on a lowly 386 SX-25, teehee.

I've not tried WoS yet .. and the reason I called S3 a broken mess was because of the performance at launch, lol. I can barely remember what rig I had back then (I *think* it was my single-core AthlonXP Mobile Barton and a 7600GT) but the game was *literally* unplayable for me on any settings. I tried it a few months ago when I had my 8800GT and my Opty and it ran beautifully, though locked at 30fps all the way ... but it'd been so long since release that I just couldn't get into it >_<
AC rocked and I loved it, but due to the simplistic and repetetive missions, I only played through it once and I can't imagine doing it again anytime soon.
As for Hulk? I'm guilty as charged of just parrotting info. I never played it, instead I ignored it BECAUSE of user comments. Oops.

We need a more reliable source. But great news if it comes out on the 9th!

Gah, nothing has been confirmed. All that's on the website is a countdown timer ... and it's JUST that. A timer. Not;
"24 days until the game launches"
It's more than likely a demo release.
