Is there any chance to make an old Firestorm Dual gamepad work with this game? I don't think it's recognized.
Edit: strange, it does get rcognized, the buttons work in the menus, but I can't select it as an input device in options.

Gears of War is GeoW, God of War is GoW. Who the fuck cares about sales? I can bet that more people played God of War, so, "it can have it".

Gonna be trying the game later. Never expected anything RPGish from this after I read the interview with the developers and they were all going on about how they were trying to make it a more immersive RPG by hiding all the RPG stuff like stats and dice rolls and what not. Which basically means they were making an action game with RPG elements.
So I'm not let down, and I'm eager to give it a go.

Just played it for an half Hour, Quite fun game!
Nice fast arcade hack'n'Slashing, with good gore effects.
( dint notice any crash? (yet?) )
Controls only feels a bit consolish 4-way movement? (playing with keyboard)
And manual target system would work better i guess.
Anyway i cant get AntiAliasing to work?
Forcing dint work, So does renaming to ut3, bioshock..
Maybe my crappy 7 Series Nvidia card?

There are 4 "talent" trees. They stand for 4 gods and the skills are made accordingly, theres loads of them, I find it much better then GoW in this area... For example Ares has mace and more attacking skills, the other god has a bit of healing etc. , they are quite interesting and original.
You gain points in trees by decisions during dialogues and assigning achievments. These can be obtained for stuff like killing 25 enemies with each weapon, persuading someone in dialogue etc. Then after assigning points you get to buy skills in the "talent" tree. Its very well made imo.
During dialoges most of the options are marked with a god sign so you know which you will favour by selecting that option.
