|
 |
So, I was like bored and thought I'd get me a psp, so i borrowed one to kill that writers block and i tinkered i might go out on a subway ride and watch movies and get inspired so what's the best movie conversion tool to get movies playing on this thing? And like... do it gotta be modded and the like? i dunno if i'm allowed to mod his psp.

XviD4PSP is a very good and easy tool to use. Don't mind the stupid name, it does a great job.
About the modding, I think PSPs have the player in the firmware, so you only need a card to put the video on it, and it should play.

Thanks. I'm downloading winvideo or some gay shit like that. Will give xvid4psp a try. I don't need an xvid codec installed do i? Been using vlc since day one and never bothered looking for codecs.

Nah, I think it downloads what it needs by itself.
Another options if StaxRip, which is a more powerful tool, if you want more power.

Yeah PSPVideo9 is quite good. But you really need to change the profiles. First of all choose a decent resolution (best is native resolution of the PSP if you got a big MS), and I always needed to turn up volume, to like 200% to be able to hear something in the subway.

And still there's nothing better than Xvid4PSP - that's a confirmed fact. Crystal-ckear, crisp and vivid picture.

Yep, I was pleasantly surprised by it... At first that "Xvid" in there kind of scared me into thinking it's crap, but it turns out to be one hell of a tool.
