I'm half way through the game and I find it pretty boring to be honest , gun fights and AI are a joke but that's not what makes a tomb raider of course , it just seems bland and I don't feel any joy solving the puzzles or climbing etc , maybe the title is pretty overused by now and I've had enough.

Bwahahahaa didn't think it was possible or that anyone would even bother... I guess every good TR game deserves a Nude patch!

Textures look too low res though... Wink

Well they're pretty dedicated, first re-texture can be found on page 4 or so and from there to page 17 (Which I linked to.) there's a pretty large variety of costumes.

http://nudecreator.de/page/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=717&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=45

I don't use them myself though, doesn't really fit though some of them are pretty well done.
(Haven't actually played the game in quite a while either, been busy with other things and games so still only on the second map which I think was Thailand.)

Code:

Tomb Raider Underworld v1.1 Patch:

Inability of users to map the mouse buttons.

Inability of users to map the ‘center camera’ button.

Some occasional crash fixes.

Graphics card stability:
A change to re-enable use of some graphics card features on ATI hardware, with their latest drivers.
Progress has been made towards addressing stalling on GeForce 6/7 series hardware.

Fixed compatibility issues with certain Realtek sound drivers which could cause crashes.

Autosaves now made for each chapter. Number of save slots is increased to accommodate these.

Bug with ramp not raising in Xibalba.

Fixed black screen deadlock when skipping doppelganger cinematic.

Issue with door lever at Kraken room entrance.

Occasional control issue during headshot move.

Fixed an occasional problem when entering a save game filename.

Some PDA fixes.

Some cinematic subtitle fixes.

Sounds good. Smile

EDIT: Patch updated the readme file(s) and the EXE plus added a new patch.000 file, about 30MB all in all while the patch itself is 101 MB so perhaps the extra data is for other languages and such. (Multiple Patch.000 files depending on which language is used.)

EDIT: Mini-image still works.

Fack...too late for me. I already experienced the ramp bug in south mexico and had to start the previous two levels over again. The patch doesn't even mention that bug.

well it was not a bug but a securom trigger that backfired ... the original virgin game gave you 40 sec to get to the cave + you could restart the riddle , the cracked version only gave 20 sec and no possibility of restarting this riddle

well more pirates complained about it SO MUCH in the game forums that well... you get it Eidos/Crystal Dynamics removed this trigger with this patch Laughing or ... in some strange way this trigger was turned by the "download community" to be a bug Razz so they removed it , fearing the bad rep from the "word of mouth" ...Eidos allready has some bad rep - paying reviewers to give this game 9/10 , so they didn't wanted the extra bad rep weight

The BS part is calling it a SecuROM trigger. It was just a bug. Games do have those you know. Sometimes lots of them.

I played through the game with the crack and had no trouble getting into the cave in time and the ramp worked. So i seriously doubt it was a trigger.

then fail the puzzle and try to restart it with the first cog ... and you see what i mean , you can't restart it and your stuck, play with the mini and no problem there
but heck who cares now when they removed this trigger ... none well if your in the download community you care, if you bought it you don't at lest they finally fixed the clipping issues, the levitating and compability for older graphic/audio hardware

@dsergei
the problem here was not the puzzle, you could easily beat in 15sec with Lara's bike if you concentrate, the problem here was when you failed you couldn't restart it

I actually failed it twice. First time I didn't know wtf to do, second time I was too slow.

Never had an issue with it opening again. Didn't use a mini-image either.

The original info came from fourplayercoop actually....
http://www.fourplayercoop.com/news/444-tomb-raider-reboot-the-first-details

In english of course

the "concept" art:
 Spoiler:

I couldn't find the original picture of the page anywhere in better quality but you can find the text which is on it in the spoiler

 Spoiler:

It's still a rumor, but since lawyers were quick on the case it's possibly real.
And also...this is just concept art ...early art for the "Underworld" Lara was far away from the finished product too.
This info is suspected to be from an internal eidos or crystal dynamics site...everything is still just a rumor.

But, this is the first time I saw a german version of that...looks pretty legit.

Well they said that after the fucking let down that was 2 3 4 5 and shitty 6 they wanted to remade the whole Lara Croft games so they made new part 1 (Anniversary) , new part 2 (Legend), new part 3 (Underworld) and now new part4 - that explains how she became what she is now

as for me i am waiting for the new part 5 that will explain how she died and was resurrected , the old part 6 did a shitty job explaining this

SINGLE-CELLED ASEXUALLY REPRODUCTIVE ORGANISMS RULE.
I agree. It's no big deal. Animal, mineral or vegetable; I'll DO anything TO anything.

It is just a local texture mod (which is injected into memory instead of the real texture). Smile
