I want to try with online stores, but they have to accept cash after delivery as a method of payment. Still no credit card Sad

I really loved this game, it's probably worth the money, but I'm hating the last two chapters. I finished chapter 8, I was pretty much forced to use a gun. It's all about dodging bullets and taking out bad guys now. What interested me about this game was the running and escaping. But now, it's all about kicking ass indoors. I'm a bit disappointed. The shooter aspect isn't even that good.

I think that's the general concencous. Chapter 1-4 were great. There is also a "puzzle room" in one of the last levels that is awesome, too. However, the combat is horrid, and guns shouldn't have been included. If the Portal developers and Mirrors Edge developers got together for a game, it would be GOTY

You mean that giant yellowish room in chapter 8 with the scafolding and you had to make your way all the way to the top. At first I thought it was impossible. It took me 3 days to figure it out. Very annoying! But very rewarding once you figure it out Smile

You needed 3 days for that? Neutral It took me 15min. I finished the whole game in 2 days (about 6hours total)

Should I do chapter 9 too? I'm gonna play PoP, I don't think I'll get back to this if I touch that. Will I miss something great if I don't finish the game?

Sure it took me some time to figure it out... but 3 whole f*** days???!?? Shocked
Try the same level (Atrium) in the time trial mode, there you'll know what pain really is! Wink

So, I justed finished Mirror's Edge (yeah I know I'm pretty late with that but screw you )
Awesome game.
I mean, it has it's quirks and at times I was about to throw my controller at my TV because it pissed me off so bad but overall it's a great game.
Yes it's short and a lot of people don't like the style the cutscenes are done in - imo it's fun, it's also pretty short but I really really liked the story. I only wish they had implemented the story better it feels like it was put on top of it.

Graphics are awesome although the switch between light and dark areas is at times too harsh so that it feels confusing.
I've seen people complain about the cleanliness of the city but I think it fits into the idea of an somewhat dys-utopian city.

Story is cool at it is but somewhat badly implemented but seen on it's own I suppose it could be pretty immersing.
I gotta admit I seriously loved Jacknife's last words
"You can't always live on the edge, Faith! Someday you got to jump!"
Yes, it's a game bla bla bla, but there's kind of a bigger truth in those words, or at least it feels like that for me.

Awesome soundtrack! Is it available online? I haven't found it (no, I'm not asking where to get it, just asking if it's out there)

One thing I gotta bitch about is: why in gods name am I hunted in every other level?
I wish there was just one huge map with big parts of the city and you had the ability to just traverse it as you like without being shot at by cops, swats, snipers or hunted by those pesky runner-like cops...
