Well just take a look at KOTOR 2, you were able to turn everyone into a jedi basically, everyone in your crew that is. They can just say that "Yeah a couple of hundred years has passed since KOTOR 2 and now everyone and their sister feel the tingle of mediclorians but they have to reach level 60 to get a lightsaber."

difference is, during the time of KOTOR (4000 or so years before SW1), jedi's weren't almost extinct by Darth Vader (and why the "lets everyone be a jedi" in SWG was a total joke). So yeah, everybody has the potential to be a jedi, IF you are willing to go through with the discipline and life that comes with it.

When KOTOR2 starts they are almost extinct though since the badguy is chasing everyone and trying to kill em. So i dunno

They could set KOTOR 3 as a prequel before KOTOR1 and thus, anyone can be a jedi |

Well the KotOR era spans a huge number of centuries anyway so it could pretty much happen a hundred years later or so.

Fuck this shit, either they make another grind pos like galaxies or they make something totally different which will get everyone hooked to this like flies to shit. Hate mmos, you need to take a vacation just to be able to play them.
Hopefully we'll see a KOTOR 3 release parallell to the new mmo, but the way the pc industry is going we'll probably see mmos only in a near future. Doom mmo, Half-Life mmo, Diablo mmo etc etc etc
Dont mess with God, he can impregnate your girlfriend/wife without taking his pants off!

Star Wars has the potential for everything, games, series, movies, comics, whatever and forever. Obviously, not always will be good.

Of course they are. That's what the whole point of using the KOTOR setting is for. It was a time when there were lots of jedi and sith running around.
Would you rather they make SWG part 2? Farming for moisture and dancing in cantinas while you cyber for fucking credits? No thanks. Let me build a saber and go fight shit.

Pick up a shovel and fight some bantha shit you silly peasant  They should have made it exclusive something like wow on level 65, only those that reach that level become a Jedi, then you can take a padawan under your wing and he is your slave, remember in Star Wars a Jedi means you belong to a very exclusive club only the best ever make it.

aslong as bioware is included, they stay away from SWG formula and they NEVER EVER even mention words like Midichlorians, and stick to the taste and smell of the kotor series... its gonna be awesome

A Kotor mmorpg, fine. But what I don't understand is this. Bioware has to have people good with numbers, market predictions and stuff like that. So there has to some sort of estimate of how much profit would come out of Kotor 3. And I can't belive that the numbers are dissapointing. I mean, Kotor 1 and 2 were perfect. And they made money, alot of money.
I'd buy Kotor 3 just for sentimentality sake and I'm sure I'm not alone.
