EA LA has revealed that the studio is now working on a new Red Alert game.
OOOO Yaaaah baby I loved the Red Alert story lets hope they stick to the original concept and not go Generals way.

good news, RA and RA2 are my fav C&C games. tib sun would look very nice updated (i reckon) but everything about RA felt right, cant think of many gameplay faults.

i'd rather see a sequel to Tiberian Sun, thats the proper storyline being continued, i think thats what people were hoping with Generals, but they just ditched the storyline, so i hardly see how it qualifies as a C&C game.
Red Alert was just a prequel to explain how the alternate future came about. Red Alert 2 was supposed to bridge the time gap between Red Alert and the first C&C, but just didnt. lets hope Red Alert 3 brings us full circle.

sorry to say but U wrong there yes the first red alert the idea behind that was to do a story what happend before C&C but later they desided that red alert supose to be a total different story line that had nothing to do with the first C&C

They should at least put movies with real actors in them, as in all C&C's except Generals. I don't care how bad the acting is... I saw the movies as a reward for finishing each mission and without movies the story is a lot less interesting, in my opinion. With Generals I just didn't know what I was fighting for and that made me lose interest quite soon.

how am i wrong?
i didnt say they didnt change to having Red Alert separate, just because i didnt say that doesnt make me wrong, what i said was right.
Red Alert was still a prequel made to explain the first C&C, because the story written in the manual was that C&C was set in an 'alternate' future, and they stressed alternate, Red Alert explained that this alternate future was brought about because Einstein went back in time to prevent WW2, which effectively meant that the Cold War afterwards wasn't 'cold' (because the alliances made between the UK, USA and Soviet Union against Hitler weren't made)
of course Red Alert was a phenomenal success, so they chose to stretch out the storyline to have more games set in the Red Alert world as they knew people would buy them. although Red Alert 2s story went off on a tangent, it still continued from Red Alert, with the Soviets defeated, a puppet ruler established, who decides to revolt, with the persuasion of Yuri.
this may be a complete different story but what i meant by bringing it full circle is that RA2 is still at least 50 years behind C&C so theres plenty to happen before they catch up with themselves. basically what we need to see happen is the GDI get established and the Brotherhood of NOD emerge. as the games always pick up from the good guys endings, Kane, manipulating Stalin, was defeated, and obviously went into hiding (whereas the bad guy ending saw Soviet victory, then Kane killed Stalin so that NOD could have the Soviets power). i assume that Yuri is also part of NOD, trying where Kane failed, this time by manipulating the new Soviet leader.
RA3 should include the meteor crashing into earth, bringing the tiberium, the return of Kane and the emergence of NOD. of course this way neither ending would be too optimistic, but it would bring it back to the start of C&C
of course this is being idealistic, if they ever do that its likely to be after 2 or 3 more RA games so they get their moneys worth

i had a further thought - have a game with all 4 sides in, Allies, Soviets, GDI and NOD.
you could start off with a Red Alert style Allies v Soviets but halfway through the game NOD could take over the Soviets through some sort of coup, and in response the Allies get together and form GDI. im sure you could come up with some excuse for a sudden development in technology to make the sides distinct. it would fill the RA-C&C gap, and make for some good multiplayer with 4 sides.
then we need a Tiberian Sun sequel

I remember the Nod movies from the very first game damn Kane was so fucking cool specialy when he shot 1 of his own guys through the head amazing , but i doubt they will use actors owell time will tell .

They didn't ditch the Tiberian storyline with Generals. Generals and Zero-Hour was made to showcase their new engine. Several games, including the new LoTR RTS is using the Generals engine, and I'm pretty sure that the new Red Alert will, too.
The Tiberian story-line was never finished. So one can only assume that there will be a new Tiberian (since most of the old Westwood guys still work for EA and worked on LoTR). But since the Red Alert series was more popular than the Tiberian off-shoot, I guess they decided to go with that first. But then again, I guess you gotta finish off the prequils before you finish the sequels.. or.. something. Damnit it's confusing.
Anyway, point being, as long as there are Westwood crew still working at EA, there will still be C&C to come. Hell, C&C started the RTS craze, and for those that know and have played it... well they're loyal fans.
Two words: CASH COW.
EA likes money. C&C will bring money (unless they seriously fuck it up) so as long as they like money and Westwood guys are there, more C&C to come. Also, you have to remember when Generals came out (besides the new engine part) that the whole terrorist thing was huge. Just another ploy to cash in on some extra bucks and make fun of all the towelheads at the same time.
There WILL be more C&C, you can count on that. LoTR took priority because why? Well.. uh, lets see... 3 movies, 3 extended editions and dvd extras and countless games and... well yeah, why not hop on the bandwagon? Remember, EA = big corporation = money hungry whores. So whatever makes them money will sell!
Anyway I went off a bit but you get the point.

EA also started a new story line with Wing Commander Prophecy did they continue with that ? NO so to all things might come a end , u just know a new game comes when its anounced and is released , look at Sam N Max 2 anounced and dished

Westwood does exist. Sort of, EA bought them. Most of the original team is still there. They are a part of EA now, and with that EA has all the say. So it could come out awesome, or EA could totally fuck it up (off topic, but wtf did they do to the NHL series? MUTILATED.)
Hope, pray to your diety of choice that EA doesn't fuck it up. It might help.

Wing Commander died because the whole space-sim genre pretty much went to shit. Remember, EA likes money, and with that, they're going to continue making games that THEY think will sell. That's all there is to it. They don't really gives two shits about the fanbase, no matter how loyal.
Can't comment on Sam&Max though, never played it let alone heard about it (aside from its name) so I can't say one way or the other what happened. I can almost garauntee it was because they didn't think it was going to sell well.
