Quantum Of Solace - 7/10. Not bad...not very james bondish but still good.

Btw...worst JB movie ever is the one with the guy who has diamonds in his face. I actually threw the dvd away (which I had bought).

Have you seen moonraker? Smile

Ofc - but moonraker is a classic. Had they made it today it would have been concidered shite. Everything evolves Smile

Jigsaw - that white square with the red cross doesnt look like that guy at all!

It was considered pretty pisspoor at the time as well.

Righteous Kill - 7/10
They put so much effort in not showing who the killer was the whole movie, that it was obvious by the end...
Only thing that saves it are the great performanes from De Niro and Pacino. Otherwhise that movie would have really sucked.

So far the only critisizm was batmans voice.. It was well instructed and had a very nice cast which dedicated themselves to Nolan. Expectations or not, it scertainly delivers.

Max Payne 3/10 - All those three points are for visual style, because the entire movie feels like a trailer or a long ass music video. Character development, story arc, storytelling has gone out the window and everything is special effects, good looking people and awesome 'cool' film-noir style. And that's all Max Payne manages to be.

It felt like they had cut away the first third of the movie where you got to know the characters and could empathize with them. Right now you're watching a bunch of unknowns do whatever. I couldn't care less.

I also think fisk should be unbanned.

Madagascar 2: 6/10 - Penguins were funny, rest was mediocre
Welcome to the Dollhouse: 8/10 - depressing movie, but that makes it good
Being There: 8/10 - Peter Sellers in a very absurd role and movie
The Party 8/10 - Peter Sellers as an Indian !!

The Last Detail 9/10 - One of Jack Nicholsons best, lot of swearing/cursing
Annie Hall 10/10 - I'm a Woody Allen Fan and this is his best i've seen so far

Dawn of the Dead (Unrated) - 9/10

Watched it as a preparation of sorts for Left 4 Dead, and it's a good movie. Great choice of music.

Wanted 3/10

What a waste of time. Angelina wasn't even attractive to look at. It gave zero back to the viewer.

Yes wild effects. Wild =/= good.

Somebody here(can't remember who you were, sorry) posted a link to trailer of Slither. So, watched 1080 version today. I was laughing my ass off thru most of the movie. Awesome B-movie, and the gore & goo stuff were really nasty in HD.

- Or it's a general term meaning outer-space fucker

Laughing

The Mutant Chronicles
HD 1080p
9 / 10

Liked every minute of the movie. The setting, the style, the slow pacing - pure joy Smile The movie is like a book's illustrations that come alive.
