Guys the Skidrow release is not a fake right? Because i have seen on piratebay many Skidrow's Lfd release that is a fake release with a fucking trojan or another shit.

Not really. I'm missing more simple weapons. The kind of weapons we see in horror movies and the ones that you would probably find in a "zombie apocalypse" scenario.
Things like: TEC-9, MAC-10, Bolt Action Hunting Rifles, Double Barrel Shotgun, MP-5
I would like to see them for a little bit of variety on the game and to make a third weapon class, witch would go below to Tier 1 of the Game.

Left.4.Dead-SKIDROW
this is the proper steam one with installer 100% crack inside and working online or is the usual bullshit homemade extracted "no steam" repacked from all the others shit but with a custom installer like DETONATION made?
steamcloud, steamworks, VAC, source engine and achievements are working in this release?

Versus mode is interesting, playing as a survivor is frikking insane. Want a difficulty spike - try that - doesn't let you breathe or settle down.

Getting a lot of CTD with the SKIDROW-release.
First time I played, I played with my gf (splitscreen).. and when the first 'wave' came she totally paniced when I said 'look out behind you' and she turned then threw her aim straight up in the roof, screaming, while getting eaten alive by all the Zombies! Then a Boomer 'sploded in my face and I could'nt see shit - game over. Was fun seeing her panic like that haha. :>
Squirrely: Now come on y'all. We can't waste time arguing. There could still be survivors out there. We need to hunt them down, and kill them.
Beary: How about we kill them, and then rape their bodies so we can use their blood as lubricant.

This game is freaking awesome cant stop playing.
Just finished the first two campaigns, and tried a bit of versus mode... lol is cool to be a zombie!!
Now i know why valve called this "the next counter strike".
=)

Nope. Just SP/LAN (hamachi). No achievements, no steamcloud, nothing else since steam does not have to be running, and thus l4d can't get any data from your friendlist.
Just good old console commands for hamachi  |
If you try to play LAN, it will tell you you need to be logged into steam. Basically its SP only unless you want to fool around with Steam running, which should work but its not a real crack. |
Nope, played all evening yesterday with a friend, you have to use the console though.
The host has to enter the following:
1. sv_lan 0
2. z_difficulty Hard (easy normal hard impossible ar the choices here i think)
3. map %mapname%
when ingame
4. sv_allow_lobby_connect_only 0
and the other players just type in: "connect %IP%" and it works, easy

I think easier way is to just run a dedicated server. Then on your PC it says one 'friend' (the server) is playing, so you click on that and you are ready to go. Your friends use the console.

Article on fast zombies by Simon Pegg, one of the guys responsible for Shaun of the Dead. It mentions Resident Evil but it's actually directed at the TV show Dead Set written by other Guardian funny man Charlie Brooker.
The more I play the more I wish there was a variety of zombies, slow and fast. They could have had it so the slow zombies meandering around the streets react to your sounds (gunfire, speech even), and in doing so become increasingly agitated, faster and focused upon the source, but are otherwise oblivious to you. Combined with the triggered hordes this more sedate zombie would have added a little variety to the pacing of the game. The chaos inducing horde is super fun, but there's something to be said for the lumbering undead.
That you can't get infected is another stalwart of the zombie genre lost. Not knowing how long your comrade is going to last before he turns into a blood lusting zombie would be positively awesome. They could have balanced it out by making the infection very rare, and having medication that delays the effects placed in safe rooms or something.
Ah, maybe the sequel.

That was a nice article, cause i agree with everything i he says. To me, a "real zombie" is the slow zombie.
The thing i loved about Dead Rising was that it had massive ammounts of zombies, and it was still hard to get by sometimes. For me, a horde of slow and unintelligent zombies is way more effective in terms of being scary, atleast in closed environments. 30 running and sprinter-fast zombies are not scary, more annoying really.. Same thing with Resident Evil btw - RE1 is really scary actually. I will never forget playing it and encountering the first zombie. It was only one and he was really slow - but the creepy feeling was spot on.
Now L4D isn't going after that style and feeling obviously, shame for me, as i'd love to have many more zombies, only slow and stupid ones

i've enabled developer console under settings, but tilde doesnt do shit
i mean single player
also this is retarded when clicking on Audio settings you have to restart the game EVEN WHEN YOU DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING!. i've accidentally clicked there 2 times, and gosh how annoying this is. fucking gabe fatass.
