How will those specs keep up with the game? Trying to convince a buddy to go buy the game with me today

that's alright... i've already gone through the demo countless of times both in multi and SP.
at least in single player i won't go through the sheer amount of stupid players who can't stick together, crouch when they rush up front and of course the never ending amount of friendly fire etc. seeing as i haven't been an avid steam player i don't have many buddies to team up with either.

it sounds stupid, but how to open console for this game (usually is "tilde" but not in this game), help

It will run kinda shitty but source engine is very customizable and with lower settings he should be fine.

Go to keyboard/mouse options or multiplayer, enable developer console or something alike.

Anyway, it shouldn't be hard to modify remaining 2 scenarios for versus mode, as I find vs to be more fun. It was also fun to watch ppl go wtf when zombies were in infinite panic mode.
Versus on expert is fun! Damn, this entire game is crapload of fun.

he'll prob go with the damn 360 copy than  if ti's not going to run smooth he prob won't get it, I'll isntall my copy on his and see how it runs. |

how do you get steam to open pages up in firefox and not IE. IT's the only program I know that won't run with windows defualt settings.

got almost the same config, except i have a P4 3.2 Ghz, and it runs fine in Low and 640x480 ^^ didnt try in others resolution  |
you mind trying 1280 or 1024 for me?

wow, so if anyone wants to argue the whole digital copy vs retail, stick with digital. All that comes in the box is the disk and a card with the key on it and primary controls on the back of it.
anywho, isntalling and me and surray will be playing in a few if anyone is in. join teh nforce group on steam

Actualy it is. They started on Counter Strike few years ago and found it fun to have few players fight against bots with knives. They kept coming back to it and it was slowly evolving.

It's not a HL2 mod now technically. Or is it ? You can actually launch it with "hl2 -game left4dead" putting hl2.exe in its folder lolz.
