Bots are actualy better than players. I managed to finally beat with 2 bots and 1 other player 2nd part of first scenario, on the first try(hardest of course).
Anyway, fixed my crashing problem. Made the game run in windowed without borders, vsync off, and mat_queue_mode 0 all in game. The game is awesome fun in versus, pity there are only 2 scenarios for now available.

I love when witches rape survivors team in versus, and I grab the last survivor and smack him to hell as others can only watch.
It is such an awesome online experience. Today I was playing versus with a friend. He felt from a cliff and bot went after him to pull him back up, to our surprise bot felt from the cliff too, he didn't managed to grab the ledge tho. 10 seconds and 10 liters of laughter tears later, another bot went to help him, he felt too but managed to grab, so there were 2 morons hanging and 1 bot left, which I grabbed and started buttsecksing.
Win \o/.

I hope the cracked relase will work on steam for a little longer.
And to clear some confusement, you can play as smoker, boomer, hunter and tank when the time is right.

game quits with no message while loading, using test release with engine dll, not even capable of running single player. using ultra 800 latest drivers if anyone knows why please say.

Yes it does crash, so does the steam version. All of them have crashes, but you don't notice them unless you play for more then 5-10 minutes. Usually it will happen about half way through a level, sometimes you can get through a full level though. Either way all releases are crap so far, and a proper release would crack the in game server browser as well so you don't have to be on steam to run it.

A proper release would probably lack online multiplayer, like it has been with most cracked games for years. Online multiplayer would mean interacting with Steam, and Valve would stamp that out ASAP, so in the end devoting effort to that would be pointless.

I'm talking ala CS:S LAN, TF2 LAN. Both work via a simple install. You launch it, you have full game features and server hosting/joining via lan. The current releases either require steam or work single player online. The older games didn't have this steam check in game so it requires more then just cracking steam out of the launch in this case, and thats all they have done so far.
So yeah it would lack online multiplayer, but it would have working LAN which these don't.

isnt that the normal case with online games? If you jump on it early you ll have alot of enthusiasts that play it non-stop and then it gets harder, because people adapt their strategies and shit.
Then later on the prices drop or the game gets a broader following because of word of mouth and it gets easier again, because of more newb-fodder.

sorry, played the wole first campaign (no mercy), by taking the time to watch teh game (2H), no crash, no pink walls

Why are only 2 campaigns playable versus?
Is it going to be like TF2 character packs all over again? One done every 8-12 months?
Game is unfinished IMO. No excuse for the other two to not be playable - they just rushed it out the door.

Unfinished? That's a pretty lame conclusion to come to. My guess is the other 2 campaigns were left out of versus for design reasons. I mean they were play testing it for how long? The game is finished.

Finished entire versus 3 times after fixing my crash problems and it's working perfectly, don't whine about relase as it is not the problem. Also tried 12 times to finish 2nd map of 1st scenario on expert with friends but failed every time, still didn't crashed once.

Found myself in the closet with Waldo last night. Was fun, if infuriatingly difficult (even on Advanced mode). Not sure if hiding in the closet was the best thing for it (Blood Harvest), but sure seemed easy enough up until the tank showed up. Insane amount of Zombies killed mind, lol.

If you play co-op or versus you will see that bots are way more better than players , they react faster , heal you when you need health , cover you , but the players from co-op and versus are just retarded , they dont heal you , dont cover you , they look at you when you die .....
BOTS FTW ! |
Yeah right...then just keep playing with bots lawl, see how long the game lasts for you, maybe bots will start talking back.

i love this game and all. . . but I really hope in the future that we will see some infected that can get limbs blown off and still crawl towards you.
Or, just crawling ones in general. . . they could be under neath vehicles and what not. . or in bushes. They could have lost the use of their limbs but still crawl with undying effort to get to their prey.
