that would indeed make sense |
then it would be 72 gig technically for people like me..
download rars/extract rars/extract ISO or BIN/install
18+18+18+18 (granted afterwords I delete the rars and the image and just have the exracted image and install)
Dont know why, I always prefer to extract the image to the files and do an install instead of mounting the image.

don't forget that if you download from http forums ( RS ) it'll mostly be a dual archived (rars in rars), which I fucking hate!!

Why would you want some DLC if you got mods? ;>

With the news that Grand Theft Auto IV has "gone gold" and is shipping already, we're wondering: How long until a copy shows up "In the wild?"
Will greedy/clueless store-owners sell copies before the street-date?
Are we going to see early GTA 4's on ebay?
Time will tell, folks, but one thing is for sure: Excitement is at a fever pitch.

Because R* doesn't support mods at all and any hack attempts etc. for earlier GTAs have been pathetic at best?

The only time I tried the multiplayer was for VC and it was absolutely crappy back then, but I wouldn't know about SA... great if they managed to make it fully functional. I meant singleplayer mods though, as far as I know there hasn't been any good ones for any of the PC GTA's.

D'oh. How about car models, new maps, new skins, new weapons, new shops, new missions?

Got any recommended mission mods for VC/SA? That site doesn't seem to list missions separately, so I guess they're all under the huge Mods section.

Mission mods could be made, but I don't think there ever were any. It was mainly vehicle and weapon mods, and a few map mods.
I'm wondering if anyone will find a way to port the DLC over as a mod.

PC Gamer UK reviews GTA IV.
Mains points:
GTA IV is reviewed in a luxurious 6 page spread.
:- Keyboard and Mouse feels effortless to drive with there seems no issues with this combo in general (mouse obviously being brilliant to aim with).
:- Wall hugging bugs from console has made it to PC - When up against certain walls or cars you still sometimes can't always peak around to shoot which causes some frustration to the player.
:- Bizarre decision has been made regarding mutliplayer - You need to log into Rockstar's Social club AND Windows Live to be be able to log into the game online.
:- Game looks amazing with a Dual Core and a 8800 card (don't know which ones sorry this is how it's written). It did have some major framerate wobbles "nothing fatal though" insists the reviewer.
Nothing mentioned of the improved graphics alot of this review is about the "experience" of playing the game in general. It does however rave how great the game is and now the part you been waiting for..what did it score?...
"The big red numbers at the end of this review reflects just how good GTA IV is.."
Scored : - 92% and also got the "MUST BUY" badge.

Nice, but are tiny penises really needed before each line of your review summary?

So it is 50% safe to say, everyone can forget playing with The Club keys.

Doesn't that the "Rockstar Social Club" just handle certain GTA4 features (Like you account for video recordings and such.) whereas Live! handles the actual MP content, I don't think you'll need two sets of keys or something, similar to Steam and Steam Community.
Strange that you need to use both and the above is mainly a guess as the game isn't out yet so it's hard to say how it'll be.

Today supposed to be the big day Damn damn .... Well, 2 more weeks, if in case we will not see an early "release" until then .... For a title as big as this one i can see from now on how the fakes and clones will pop up on the surface.

He is referring to a comment about the console DLC which will be released next year.

Rudden hopes the episode costs $15 or less, but Wedbush Morgan Securities analyst Michael Pachter expects a $20 price and says Rockstar could sell 2 million to 3 million downloads. "I see episodic content as a natural progression of the quality of downloadable content."
