I'm really looking forward to this game, especially since they showed unit customization. It's going to be sweet!

looking at the MP video:
there are 3 leader types for the space marines MP -a force commander,an apothecary and a tech marine (but no librarian or chaplain ? ).., there is a main structure from which the units are deployed, around the strategic points can be build power generators, so the buildings are not completely out of the game Razz

also, is not exactly new- but: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/43427.html
trailer of the single players blood ravens- squad leaders

DO WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT!!

.... just in case anyone has forgotten that, yes, Sabin DOES want this game. Oh and for the pirate within us, the game is set to use the "Games for Windows Live!" back-end. Unless MS have drastically changed the key policy, I guess that means we could have free online play Razz

No probs!

Of course, don't get your hopes up. MS are WELL aware of the current G4WL key debacle .. so no doubt they'll do something to close the loophole eventually.

You aren't the only one, bud. A LOT of people were pissed at GTA4 for that. Windows Live setup shouldn't really count, as a lot more games are starting to use it now, so it's going to become pretty much integral eventually -- but all that Social Club nonsense? Pfft BLEGH.

They said they're recoding it, and DOW2 will be the first game to use their "new" GFWL system.

Can they even close it? You have to remember they have millions of keys already released with older games, how can they fix it?

By creating a new key algorithm, or making sure that only a set chain of keys work for this particular title? I really don't know, mate. If it IS closed, at least we know we had a FUCKING good run thanks to Sega's stupidity. A LOT of games can, and have been, activated with just a single key (and you can use any G4WL key with any G4WL title anyway)

If it's NOT closed, then hey! We get another one ^_^

Not sure if I'm allowed to ask this, but when the game comes out, would anyone be willing to share a The Club key?

If a request like this is against the rules, just tell me and I'll remove it. Or a mod just remove the post.

If the Club keys work, you could always just find a cheap copy of some other LIVE game and then use that key for any other LIVE game.

The original actually had an alright campaign for the Blood Raven, but the expansions... Well, let's say I'm not that big of a fan of the risk-based campaigns.

oh..didnt know that.. i actualy started to play after dawn of war.. since it had all races i didnt bother to get the ones before that..

This campaings makes me remember the latest missions of universe at war.. many people didnt like but i really enjoyed sp campaing till the "risk-based campaigns" at the end..

this game and starcraft 2 are my top listed games for 2009.. with starcraft 2 i am sure they will deliver a great sp and mp experience.. i hope they continue the good work with warhammer 40k series..
