iam finish with the game !!! and i have 2 say: its awesome !! i dont expect this 4 an add on! it has atmo awesome gfx a lot new enemies new weapons !!! damn good !! playing now prince of persia 2 !!!!

well first of all I dont have the origional pk and I installed this, before you start saying my system aint good enough Im running a AAbit duramax Pci-E mobo, 3.4 extreme edition intel chip, 1gb Corsair DDR2 xms ram, Radeon x800xt platinum edition (pci-e)....well you get the point. my mate has the origional pk and reports a lot of shiny textures and bumpmaps where as I get none, the only explanation I can think of is not having the origional as both me and him have radeon cards and both maxed out

I only installed the exp, and i got shiny shit everywhere even the pigs are shiny. So it must be config , my guess . Smile

anybody got to the bottom of the shiny pig problem ? i installed without the original and i don't get any shiny... using an 5900fx 67.02 drivers I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

Why not compare the same pig location and not two different? Maybe the pig on the "mine" image is supposed to be non shiny?

Lightning effects cant be cast if there are no light sources Kamikaze666. If you look at the table and the overall look of the picture you can see that it's alot darker than the other picture. So again, why not test it at the same location? The other location clearly have a lightsource right towards the pig.

sorry to revive this ancient thread but have to say that all painkiller games are on sale on steam til tonight http://store.steampowered.com/app/3200/ i got black edition (original+addon) and had to post here, im having a FUCKING blast with it, replaying it after 6-7 years and cant stop be amazed how good it is; i remember it was prety remarcable then but still. Game is trully amazing and relaxing, and although its main theme is just mindless fun as in shoot every shit monster that pops up on the screen, the levels are fucking scary, more creepier than a lot of those socalled horror games. Buy it

I couldn't agree more! The first PK title and expansion are both fantastic, just pure fun without any extraneous bullshit trappings. You kill things, you get better weapons, you kill more things. It's perfect.
