Is there a way to know if a console is ban without booting it? Mine has been broker for one month now and i was planning on getting it fixed but if im banned i guess ill just buy a new one.

You mean like an online database that lists the serial numbers of banned motherboards? Id like to know this info as well.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm on the downloaded NXE preview so there's no way I'm gonna do a Live update from this one on the 19th. I'm just gonna wait 'til it comes up on the Xbox site, burn it and then update the shit out of this! You never know... 
Anyway, M$, ban me if you want/can, that won't stop me from burning games out of your RRODed ass! 
ps : Did I mention I have a repaired-pre-modded-X360 (w/ warranty sticker on)??!?  Suck on that M$!

its called secdata.bin if i remember correctly and holds the ss,pfi and dmi of discs that have failed the checks if i remember correctly.

It's not a file as such, it's held on the flash memory on the 360 motherboard. So it doesn't matter if you use a different HD, memory card, profile, or stay offline, the details are logged and uploaded the next time you connect.

And i i'm sure clearing this secdata.bin will be detectable next time you connect, and might even lead to a ban if the file is modified!!
