Going by same reviewers ProStreet is a ~8/10.
And above average is not sucking. Oh well I'm done defending a game against sheep who go by reviews. And no I have not played it yet. |
Maybe for you it aint sucking, but ProStreet sucked for me (yes tried and played it) so reviewers who gave a game which according to me needs a 5,5/10 about 3 to 2 points lower raises the score too 2,5-3,5/10. Why the hack should I try it then when I have TDU, GTR and Toca Race Driver?? Last good Need for Speed was most wanted.

I will test it myself soon, I think is not possible this game sucks more tan ProStreet, that cannot be possible.
I think that reviews are full of hate and exaggerations, just like a contagious sickness. I am not a NFS fanboy, if this comments make you think that.

BEST NFS FOR YEARS
the physics actually feel realistic, it's like gran turismo though obviously not as good but almost. i'm not too sure about car modifications yet because i'm not even far into the game but so it's been fucking brilliant and the story line is actually good for a change. I haven't seen a NFS as good as this since the psx days. graphics arent too good but even so it's still a joy to play
get this fucking game now, you will not regret it.

I only see my opponents at the start, too easy!
Good thing i noticed is they removed this ugly catch-up feature

it confuses me too because if you look at all the past NFS games done by EA they are rushed out pieces of shit designed to drag in money but this one feels just perfect.
I do however have one problem with it and that's the camera views, I still prefer an in vehicle view like midnight club 4 but that will never happen.

erm, are Dazz99 and i playing different games or something?
In my Lotus Elise which i got from pink slip races turns okay when under throttle, but as soon as you let go of the throttle it magically does 90 degree turns at 200+ km/h
That is hardly gran tourismo...
And as for the movie like presentation - it feels as if Jhonny the 7 year old made a script, hired some high school actor wanabe's and shot it on his telephone camera. I mean they are totally over acting.
For example the first time u do a job thats a highway battle. This guy nearlly kills his phone for some reason (apparently u made him so angry he is sooo pissed that u beat him)...his acting is so omg. And the scenes where ther are alot of ppl? I mean the way they interact its sooo fake and the whole thing feels more like a studio than a real backyard.
Oh and, i still dont get it hy he is so angry wit me. I mean if u finish the race some 25secs after me, what do you expect?
Anyways apart from that, my game fucking stutters and framerate is horrible yada yada. And no, my box isnt made of bamboo sticks and pandas.

Break-neck cop chases? All I have seen is sluggish bumping around while trying to figure out which direction I'm going through all the motion blur and bloom.
World's hottest Cars? FFS, you start with a 240. Maybe a hot car for a fricking street punk.
I am off to install the heart of the NFS series, 3-6, and have some real fun.

Are you guys nuts? The bloom is awesome! It covers all details so no need to worry that your eyes will flip over if you see some low-res textures. Also, it's almost as good as DIRT's. I'm so fucking loving the game for it's bloom. It's something new and extraordinary and definitely something good enough for you to buy the game. I can't wait till it reaches shop shelves... more bloom in my life. Peace.
