How the hell do you know it will have less bugs ? Anyway the game is average at best, controls are painfully bad and they took all the fun out of it. Only good thing about it is the story.

What exactly in your opinion did they take out what makes it less fun?
I am very happy that things like gym are gone.
And why controls are painful? ;o

Yeah the controls are crap because it feels so bad walking ariund, maybe realistic but not funny.

Also hell yeah i'm happy the gym is out, now we just got Nikos fat cousin calling ever 20 sec to go get drunk and gay guys calling him to go out for dinner, you die far too easily if it was supposed to be a fun game and i miss airplanes/jeckpacks.

For every bad thing they removed they imported a new shitty one.

from GTA4.net , the hungarian magazine GameStar:

- They've mentioned that Rockstar is working on fixing bugs, which were apparent in the X360 and PS3 versions.

- Some of the licensed tracks which were in the console version didn't make it to the PC port. This is because of the new replay editor, since they needed to purchase a new license, in which the original authors provide the rights to upload movies with their tracks on YouTube... This answers our question about, why YouTube has removed some videos which were filmed directly from GTA IV.

- It's confirmed that the game has been worked on since they've started working on the console versions.

- The graphics are incredible. Not only the streets and interiour textures have been updated, but the character textures too. Also the magazine mentions that the trees look more realistic, and you can even see how the sun rays between tree leaves. And of course... the draw distance is much higher, than it was in console versions... (This applies to both the map and AI)

- They also talk a lot about the replay editor, which can be accessed through our cellphone. Nothing new really, they are just talking about how impressive it is, and say that it can be controlled with a gamepad too.

- Unfortunately they didn't tell anything new about the game's multiplayer system, just that it has extra filters.. no information about player counts.

Says more about your skills then the game, come on if you find GTA diffucult because you die to easy then you need some training. Damn most gamers are pussys. Everybody should go to a SWAT 3/4 course to see what diffcult games look like.

The "less licensed tracks" is pretty gay - why not just remove music from the replays alltogether or just not allow certain tracks during replays.

Turning cars in that game is equivilant to how fred flinstone has to turn his.

I did enjoy the game though on 360...at least the main story. But having everyone and their mother calling you every 5 minutes to go to some strip club or having to constantly hear some stupid depressed gangster going on about how you should have shot him instead gets old.

The main reason I kept playing this game....Brucie cracks me up.

Yeap those first Rainbow where you had to plan and execute commands at the same time was damn hard. Ravenshield was oké but sometimes a bit too easy to play. Every R6 before Ravenshield was damn though. Vegas is a walk in the park.

What does it matter? In GTA 3/Vice/San you where able to place mp3 in a mp3 map in the GTA dir and listen to that.

Sorry but haha funny you say that, i loved swat 3. Smile

Not a pussy and i like a challenge... But this is more of a battle with aweful controll in cars and with Niko, stupid micro managament like taking nice clothes on for some mission, it's just hard because it's crap and not to give you a challenge.

Have you actually played it on PC or not? Stop saying the controls are bad if you played it on a console.

As i said i dont mean the control as how it is layed out but how fat he feels when moving him around, the physics on him destroys the fun and same thing goes for the cars.

From gtagaming.com:

UK mega-retailer Tesco have posted an image of the back of the PC version of GTA IV's box today. The image doesn't reveal much, partly due to its tiny size and compressed nature, but I did pick out one interesting piece of text in the image:

"Initial activation requires internet connection"

It seems like you won't be able to play ANY of GTA IV unless you have your computer hooked up to the internet. This is becoming a common anti-piracy measure in PC games, but unlike the recently released Spore the boxart confirms that you will be able to install GTA IV an "unlimited" number of times.

http://www.tesco.com/entertainment/product.aspx?R=882493&bci=4|Games

Info from the box:

Quote:
-Stunningly detailed, high resolution graphics

-Video editor allows you to capture and edit in-game footage to share

-32 person multiplayer with custom match feature for an optimized experience

-Customize a radio station using your own songs with Independence FM.

Yeah I don't even pass minumum I think since I don't have a Duo. And yet I play FC2 on max with 4xAA

So either it's a big money making gimmick to force people to buy new hardware, or the system reqs are really off the charts and the GFX are like or better than Crysis. The latter I doubt.

The thing is I KNOW people will make mods that will optimize meshes etc. and thus lower the req. for the game. But they're probably not gonna be compatible with online...
