The controls are the same as the demo, didnt notice any change. YOu should play it with a gamepad, specially the X360 one, it helps a lot... And yes the camera is still awful, but I think it's a minor flaw compared to how good is everything else.

so one mini review cuz i am nice enough 
Graphics = 9/10 on par with today's game and you dont need the best pc ever to run it fully maxed. Level design is INCREDIBLE, levels are huge, there are multiple paths to accomplish levels. You are at first litterally lost when you enter a new room, and you really feel alone. So really good atmosphere.
Gameplay = 9/10 but that's with a X360 gamepad. It's ok with mouse+keyboard except the "left-right-left-right jump". Puzzles are hard and will make you think/be happy when you resolve them.
Story = I cant tell you much since I didnt finish it but so far it's good and will get you hooked : i mean you will wanna play it till the end i guess
Sound = one of the best element of the game. Musics are beautiful.
Animations = 8/10, there are flaws but they are still nice, specially during real time cutscenes, they are perfect.
Camera = 6/10. It's sometimes AWFUL. It's a good thing 80% of the time it's fine. But when it's not, prepare to see Lara die
Some would think I'm a fanboy, but trust me i'm not. I really don't know what would be so bad about this game. Maybe you'd think my "9/10" are overrated, but it'd say 8/10 at the worst.
Overall ? I'd say 8.5 - 9/10, really. The sometimes choppy animations and choppy camera really should have been fixed to be the perfect platformer. I guess you will only find this game crappy if you don't like platformers, so don't bother if you don't that won't change. If you are keen on adventure games, jump on it, you will love it for sure

Define 'very bad' for controls. If some controls are very bad it means it's unplayable, hideous and even disgusting to enjoy the game.
In my time of gaming i never witnessed a 'very bad controls' game.
Some spit on Dead Space and AitD's controls - but they were fine and tip-top to play. 
Some people don't know what they want.  |

@human_steel, well..i think that when controlls of a game are bad (and maybe for one person bad=perfect while for anothere one it is realy bad) - the game is no fun, and thats how i feelt while was playing the demo, but now i see that xbox360 controller works well, so...i will go for it:)
btw...dead space camera (this over shoulder thing)..i coulden't get use to it till the end of the game..imo it was wrong thing to do, and the camera had direct effect on the controlls cause of the angle, but... i guess this feeling is individual and i know that most of the people who played dead space, loved it the way it is..probably it wasn't for me. |
