nope, size and date is different. so its not untouched by the patch

From the bottom of the picture it seems to be a cracked server, I'm sure people can cheat with ease on a cracked server since it is not punk buster protected like a legit server. If I'm wrong then correct me, but I always thought punk buster would not work for illegal cracked copies.

punk buster works fine on COD4 private servers with "cracked copies". some ppl have had the game for at least a few days and if u play 24/7 its not hard to rank up.

Hi i need help pls!
I installed the game wit reloaded serial+crack.
Running the game,but cant start singleplayer game....
Choosing NEW GAME,and then DIFFICULTY,and nothing...Just again the NEW GAME option...
I cant make profil (dropping out to desktop,with error),and there is no profil (I see nnothing at the top of the screen at Profile Name)...
Vista64bit error,or something? Pls help!

Here is what you do. If you are in Vista go to C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles and you will see many accounts. Delete all of them except the one you want to use. Then open active.txt and type that name (delete all others), so that the only name there is the one you want to use, and then save. Worked for me.

The lan fix#2 on gcw still works tho, we use it and can play coop just fine...

while you cant hack your acual rank, its easy to modify the xp gained (on cracked servers, don0t try on real ones tho). By simply finding the hex value blabla of xp gained and modifying it. So instead of 1 xp you gain like a trillion ...
anyway, the guy on that screen had autoaim + autoshoot. He just stood on the same spot and was whirling around, hs-ing everything on the map.

Whats the single player mode like?
And I've not patched the game yet just used the fix to try and get it running.
Everything loads ok, then when i go to solo(hopefully single player mode?).
When i click solo then select my difficulty, i can't start the game?
Wtf, how do i start the dang game people?

This game doesn't like AA that much, in CoD4 4xAA gives me visually no slowdown at all, but in this game I lose like 10-30 fps with just 2xAA enabled. In huge online firefights and artillery FPS can go down to 30's if I have 4xAA. That never happens in CoD4.

4xAA is no problem here @ 1080p ... solid 60fps (gtx260)
i am glad i bought this game, just to bypass all the cdkey lameness (dvd is german, never gona use it)... but... the servers where my ping is below 100 are very limited... lets say 30 total (from 2000+)... and at least 10 of those are cracked servers... which i then end up playing on... also i have not found a coop/zombie server yet... says downing list of 25, but 0 show...
kinda lame to spend the money and end up on cracked servers... but... the game is worth it imo
and yeah it offers new shit, flamethrower, dogs, and new multiplayer modes...
hardcore war is nice 
definatly not a step back
rld install, 1.1patch, untouched mp.exe, cracked sp.exe(rlddvd), legit key
very smooth game maxed out on the 40" <3

Just give it time, the game is officially out in Europe only today the 14th of November, and many people still waiting for it to arrive on Steam. Cracked servers will be removed from master server list, just like they were removed from CoD4 server list. In the next few weeks there will be tons of new legit servers to choose from, once more and more people buy it.
About coop/zombies, you probably don't see any servers coz you are using RLD crack which is version 1.0, and all these servers are 1.1.

Safedisc 4.9x which this game uses can't currently be emulated but I think it's being worked on - perhaps something for the next update of Daemon Tools?

I had the same problem zolo,
had to adjust it manually in the config file.
Local Settings\Application Data\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles "Config.cfg"
Look for this line,
seta snd_speakerConfiguration "Stereo"
Change to
seta snd_speakerConfiguration "5.1"

Well opinions are like a-holes.. we all got one.. L4D got some heat for bad AI. I cant say codwaws AI are revolutionising but in the whole i rather go for codwaw since its not ONLY zombies.
Sure L4D got its moments, what it all comes down to is what u want more.. A totally zombified gameplay or a shooter with not only zombies to shoot at...
