Seems to be a common problem with a few people then. Whats everyone's pc stats that are running into this issue?
ASUS Formula Maximus II mobo
Q9550 CPU
4870x2 Vid Card
Vista Ultimate(32bit)
3gb RAM

Okay got it to work now.
Need to go in and make a folder with a profile name and create a file called active.txt with your folder name only in it.
It's the local/uses/activision/profiles directory

how do i change the difficulty of a game ive already started? I dont want to start over but it has become ridiculously hard on the most difficult mode.

i cant launch mp mode only coop , mp mode crashs with that gay window error box

When i ALT+TAB to change from game 2 windows desktop,whenever i go back into the game the screen goes black and i have to CTRL ALT DEL the program bcz "it's not responding"...that's gay..any help?

I just came back home and checked steam and COD5 is coming on steam , price and date are not set but i cant wait for it :X

sure, some missions were hard. but i also finished the game in about 5 hours and a few minutes. awesome game, but to short (same as mordern warfare). but mp rocks

did you play the game on easy and just run without looking and shooting arround?

for all who got the binkw32.dll error at startup followed by error ""error during initialization: couldn't load filesyscheck.cfg. make sure call of duty is run in the correct folder" after replacing blinkw32.dll. try another dvd oder euqal installation medium. also the EULA and pb screen on installation were left blank.
after 2 days of reading boards it was the only thing that fixed the prob
