I've watched the series, and the old were good because of the spooky atmosphere, not necessarily connected to the UFO... The film was just plain dull, nothing spooky, just a few creepy gay Russians...

Although I remember in Malcom in the middle, one episode was about Malcoms Polish grandma, they were in some Polish center, but all around were Croatian crests, flags, there was even pic of a cathedral in Zagreb  ... so I'm not so surprised with the mistake in X-Files (what can you expect from a crappy movie )

This felt like one of those rare boring episodes... that lasts for over an hour and a half. Nothing xfiles about it, dont know what they were thinking.
Why exactly did they bring skinner back? He added nothing to the plot other than simply bringing back another character. They should of brought krycek back while they were at it.

I wanted to believe this movie would be good, but no. It was below average. Very very boring, storyline was not interesting. Nothing like the season episodes.
Sad, they had a 2nd shot and blew it again..
