Patch 1.1 is out
Activision has issued the first patch for Call of Duty: World at War, bringing to v1.1 this first person shooter sequel developed by Treyarch Invention. Mods are now enabled in Co-op, Single Player, and Multiplayer. Also, license key is no longer required to run a Dedicated Server.

Good sir, wouldst thou like to tryeth to use "taskkill" to fix thine lockups?
start, run, cmd, taskkill /? to see the switches, then just do a start, run, taskkill /IM cod5worldatwar.exe and press enter. (I have not played the game on the pc so i do not know the waw.exe-name). Since you're not running cod5 at that moment nothing will happen.
The next time you play cod5 however, and it locks-up, press win+r to get to the run-field, then press either enter to use the currently filled-in command or arrow up/down to cycle the previous entries.
Whenever i've had locked games i have still been able to see the history-part of the run-box, everything else has been invisible.

What's the point of playing on cracked servers? I got rank 3 and exited and now I'm back to 1.

i still get a error about Unhandled exception in xp sp2, is there any solution...

Has anyone got the co-op side working on Lan / Hamachi?
I get "key in use" errors
I've tried changing keys, opening up firewall to allow AUTH events.
I have the MP Unlocker-Unleashed but coop uses the SP exe.

Have u read the last 2 pages? Use the latest lanfix at gcw...
Theres also a mp fix for 1.1... ONLY for mp not for sp/co-op..

so you can patch and still connect to cracked servers ? wouldn't it require at some modification to prevent it from connecting to master auth server first ?

Just played some 1.1 online and rifles felt somewhat more powerful, as they should. Didn't play much coz server started to lag but I already see that this patch is very good. Fixed most if not all the issues that were in the game.

finally solved the problem, for xp: remove modems that are you not using and the game works...wow the sound in this game is one big shit:D
