Seems correct, I remember reading that the US edition would be released first and only via digital distribution initially and then the disc version would be released later in the EU region.

Over a month after it was originally slated to arrive, the PC version of Double Helix's survival horror game Silent Hill: Homecoming has finally been released on Steam.

The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions hit retailers in late September. The PC version is only available through Valve's digital distribution platform in North America.

i don't think that someone will go to make a scene release going to stole steam files until when it will be into store. someone will release a retail then

iirc, there won't be a retail version for pc - so no scene rls. but what the heck, a working homemade/p2p/whatever rip should suffice.

this is not only avaiable for digital distribution. only for now and only in USA but then it will come out into store and then someone will release a multi5 retail version i guess

then if a retail will not come out there will be for 360. i hate buggy no steam files

maybe, but i don't wanna wait Very Happy
btw, buggy steam files? never had problems with and steam rip

@condomcrack: think it's about the same...only problem is that scene rls are done by big, experienced groups while steam rips are mostly done by individuals or small groups. so it will probably take a while

steam is uncrackable. u need a connection to download, get all updated and play for full. steam rips don't exists. they are just huge heap of buggy extracted files

hinterland is come out also unprotected on d2d, gamersgate, impulse etc etc and UNLEASHED don't have released it. it's not only a steam protected game. digital distribution of steam is a bit different from other way
anyway here there are online web sites stores that have this game in preorder so i guess that a retail will be out soon

good memory, man. i wish i'd remember where i put that small bud that was tastier than the rest. but it's no biggie, since i've got a few others which are also pretty crisp. and they get the job done just as well. (a stretched analogy, i know; but i like stretching things.. ahem)

that being said, i don't remember stuff like this and i couldn't care less who releases what, or whether it's a scene release or not.

think he said something about burning a DVD.. Confused and something about not being allowed to use the kettle because of forseen dangers that could arise from the steam.

Very Happy
burning dvds is dangerous too. there's a shitload of chemicals in the fumes that you could inhale. and i heard most of them are cancerous.
