ok installed, ran the game. not played yet, im remote desktop ing.
what i noticed though is you can play the campaign by finding ppl online, or with your friends.
if you select online, you can either join a game in process, or enter a lobby and wait till there are 4 ppl to start the game.

I go to the web page which then brings up steam when i click the download link.
Steam then shows the link to "Install".
I click that, and absolutely nothing seems to happen.
What should happen when that install button is pressed? I assume steam would tell me i is downloading?

I just added my code into steam, let it download and at 3pm doubleclicked on L4D demo in steam (even though it said downloading) and it instantly loaded. Tried playing a few online games but they failed as there are no dedicated servers right now so it tries to start a LAN game but no one has configured their routers correctly so no one can connect to host. Great game though, seems very polished. Not sure how long the appeal will last though as i was sort of getting bored after about 15 minutes, though i was just playing with 3 CPU players vs the zombies.
The game sort of feels like you're going round a haunted house attraction at a theme park or something. You get grouped together with 3 people you don't know, say hi, then start to make your way to the first 'safe room' where you get a run-down on who got the most kills, headshots etc. Then the game continues to the next section....

I think your getting unavailable because nod32 is putting the .exe file in quarantine. When I restored the file and put it on the exclusion list, the game launched straight away.

When I click "Install Now" should it then ask for a code?
Im really about to pull my hair out here.
The email from gamestop says to click on a link then click the "Download Now" button... well... there is no "download Now" button. . . only an "Install" button which then opens steam. . . and within that opens another screen with an Install button exactly like the web page.
When i click that, nothing happens.
