I think the problem is in poor isos you downloaded. They have badly made MDS files so they fail in anyway. Remember - good topology is the key.

Yes, I agree that the key is topology, but nobody seems to care of these two old-fashioned games.
I mean, if I had money, at least I would buy pac-man world 2, make an image, then a working mini-image and release it..
P.S.: a doubt is arising: how did they make a working mini-image for Toca Race Driver 2, given that it's on DVD and there is no software able to extract topology from a DVD? (or I'm mistaking myself, cause Blindwrite is able to do that?)

The Mini-Image for ToCA 2 was made by the Polish version of the game, released on CD and not on DVD.
