harry is pressing hard that miguel will give up dexter instantly but i think that the police will find out about dexter/miguel and miguel will take the wrap for it so that dexter can continue their work on the outside
oh and i'm loving this season, I don't really give a shit about any of you who think it's way to soap like because I disagree... I think it's going in the right direction. oh and as i've stated before the guy who is playing Miguel is doing a brilliant job so it will make his departure pretty sad (if he does leave)

Lol yes they air it on Showtime. Thats where I first saw it. Saw the very first episode the first time they ever aired it, only because it was in HD. I usually like to watch in HD but sometimes i just go ahead and watch it from showtime on demand (non HD).

I really liked that part with the old lady. Gives you insight in dexter's humane psyche...
Adn you think the subplot between Angel and that Spanish cop is interesting? That's the least interesting part for me...
Don't give this show up man, I've got a hunch it's gonna turn into one helluva finale. |

I always considered the killing of his as a small part of the plot that had to be included inside the main plot which was Dexter's personality.

People you don't get it , the main plot is not about the skinner or the fat lady or the Spanish guy .... its the evolution of Dexter .
He allways killed with the code and allways with the code but now... he killed someone innocent , then tries to find something to make this go away , he is getting sloppy , now he breaks the code with trusting others and killing a friend in a mercy act ... more and more he is becoming a serial killer, and he doesn't even know it
season 1 was about Dexters hidden life and his brother
season 2 was about his addiction to his vigilante life
season 3 is about why he must respect the Code

Camilla deserved her long scenes this last episode. She was the only person who knew who Dexter truly was even before he found out for himself back in Season 1. Shes wayy more important than Deb IMO

what I don't give a shit about and almost skip in this series is pretty much deb's love plots and emotional bombs
I want rita to die in a horrible car accident and so do her kids , I want dexter to go back to what he truly is and cannot change no matter what, and I'm hoping for a plot twist where he snaps and kills his wife and the children
now THAT's interesting, I couldn't give a shit which color their wallpapers are gonna be
sadly the writers have to go with the politically correct stuff that we saw over and over and over countless of times , it's annoying that marketing ( getting bigger audience ) and political correctness get in the way of story telling
unpredictable and shocking stuff in a story is what we truly need , not the usual "everything is gonna be okay" "good ending" stuff

That's such enormous pretentious insipid bullshit. Mostly because the episodes are an endless repetition of monotonous 90210-plots and subplots, essentially what you are describing as something that goes on for a season, is something that might be worth one, or max two episodes. There is nothing interesting here, he's broken the code previously - and in a much more interesting manner (see season 2).
His relationship with Rita used to be stale and a true version of how being an antisocial murderer does not work together with being a family father, and the contrast between that made it interesting. These days he's embracing his Disney-world self and I'm expecting him to be cured of his "disease" because Manuel (or whatever his spanish friends name is) actually loves him now. (how cute ♥)
The fact Dexter's been interesting to me, is that it's been politically incorrect, this season is pure yawn - playing on clichés, classic soap stories, and scenes that work more to regurgitate what's already been established. This season is 'Dexter goes from metal to Britney Spears-pop produced by Bluegrass' because it's easier. Dexter's relationship with his friends used to be really tense, and he used to be under immediate threat. Now it's all chummy and comfortable. Or with other words: Boring. It's as if the good writers of Dexter quit this show and joined TRUE BLOOD.
And yes dazz, I will stop watching this, but not because of your denial; but because of Dexter sucking dongs in this season.

Dexter wasn't ever about the explicit violence imo. - but now it's the complete opposite. Watching Dexter fret over "maybe" not killing "the bad guy" is so stereotype boring bullshit.

There are just too many plots going on that have NOTHING to do with Dexter.
1. The Deb/Anton thing
2. The slicer
3. Rita getting a new job
4. Quinn getting observed by the asian chick
5. Angel and the female police officer
They really made a soap opera out of this...
Points 1+2 COULD be connected to Dexter, but only if Miguel was the slicer (which I doubt, I think it's Quinn). But I don't see any way how the others could relate to him...
