Just a quick question on something I realized I'm not too clear about.
So games show up coming from a PAL/NTSC region, but in some cases end up being region free. I know this means the other region will be allowed to play/boot the game, but what does this mean for multiplayer connectivity? If an NTSC user grabs a region free PAL release, does that mean the multiplayer is going to seek other clients of that region?
I know it is this way on the Wii, if a North American console boots up a region free PAL release, it's going to seek European users (which is bad).
If I were to burn an NTSC region locked game.. and tried playing it in my Pal console. Would it simply not work at all? or an error pop up explaining its the wrong region or would it be garbled crap?

I tried a PAL only release once and it told me that it was the wrong region...
