Not quite sure. Already 3 side quests done. I haven't played that much. But following bethesda's politics about structuring a game, they emphasize more on the side missions in general, making the player not care much about the main story. That's what i felt when played oblivion and now i see exactly the same.

Most sidequests you just stumble upon. It is a double edged blade though. It's bad because you won't get most of the sidequests without actively exploring, but on the other hand it's great because exploring stays fun. You just enter a random building, and bam a longass quest opens up Smile

I wonder if it's possible to replace the default underwear with the unused models. It should be, but the model would probably have to be edited to display properly in the game. I definitely wouldn't mind getting rid of the default (ugly) model. Would you mind providing the file names of these models? I don't feel like browsing through the monstrous archive, especially since you've already done it.

Edit: anyone know if it's actually possible to go past level 20 btw? I dont think i've gotten any XP since i became level 20 and i've killed loads of high level mobs including Super Mutant Behemots and those tesla soldiers at the end of the game.

the story and quests in this game are about as interesting as clipping my finger nails.

30minutes of walking from place to place everytime you need to do a new quest , no vehicules whatsofuckingever ( oblivion did have horses why not this?, lazy bums )
all I do is "movetoqt" command or use fast travel if it's in an area I visited before , else it's one hell of a walking trip with random encounters that make you lose health and ammo for no reason
shit.

You can only clip your nails once a week or so, and only takes a minute or so.

You can do the quests all day long Laughing

You can use the advlevel cheat. It doesn't break anything in the game, as far as I can tell.

Does your speed depend upon the weight you are carrying (not overburdened ofourse)

Still can't find recording of Sidney's father in the Statesman Hotel. Where is it exactly? When I enter via the main street and go up the staris in the left/back you will find a skeleton in a bath and on a bed. But I can't find it there.

I'd like to slow down the degradation as its a bit too fast. I like the idea though..maybe twice as slow would be nice.

The more stuff you put in, the slower you get. Can anyone explain these three commands:

setgs fAVDCarryWeightsBase <number> - Set weight limit.
setgs fAVDCarryWeightMult <number> - Set strength multiplier for weight limit.
player.setAV carryweight <number> - Set maximum carrying weight.

What do they do exactly....

I'm thinking that number 2 might somehow allow you to carry shitloads of stuff and won't decrease your speed.

I just haven't figured it out.

JBeckman - Thanks for that console list, I just hit lvl 20 and I was going to make
'reveal all markers on map' my next perk.

Dogmeat kicked the bucket last night, so I thought I would add him back with the console command for it, but then you cant speak to him and he dont follow you. Anyone know if one can get him again so he works as intended?
