Jesus Christ, has to be the worst one in living memory for me, Jesus.
Can't breath, can hardly talk.
1st flu I've had in like 5 years, to make things worse the flu jab, it seems, makes the thing worse.

Everyone here (im in the states) is getting nailed by it. I just got over it being followed by a cold. My mom just got hit. About 3 guys I work with had it including their wives.

Throwing up, high fever, bones aching, hot/cold syndrome. Doesn't sound like much a cold to me.
And a flu has never once stopped me from being on the computer. I'd rather be in bed but sometimes too much sleep is too much sleep.
none the less, that was last week.

Well, it is flu season.
Last year I had a weird flu (according to the doc it was the flu). My entire back seized up (and I had a mildly stuffy nose and a mild cough)...I woke up one morning with a sore back and as the day went on it got worse and worse to the point that I thought I pulled something. So I laid on my bed (i have an awesome bed, great support) and under a few covers (so I was warm) and hoped it would make my back better. It just got worse and worse. I thought I fucked something up bad so I called my dad and cause it was the weekend we went to the emerg. While we were waiting my dad did some pressure point therapy on my back with made it a little better...but in the end, I had the flu and it just one of those things.
it manifested itself in my back (instead of say my stomach and making me throw up and shit). They gave me some antibiotics (or whatever the hell they give you for the flu), like 3 days worth of muscle relaxers and told me to take tylenol. After taking the flu meds for 2 days, my back was fine but then my head congestion and throat got bad and had a fever and I continued with the meds and a few days later I was fine.
The flu can be fuckin weird.
Still, i rarely get sick. When I do tho, its badly sick (in some way). I never get a mild cold, I either get no cold or a full blown "disease" that lays me up for a week.

Depends where you drop it tho bud.
If you drop it somewhere with western medicine, you wont succeed.
But if you drop it somewhere with little or no modern medicine, then ya, you'll succeed lol 
Still, Im more afraid of products I get that have the label "made in china"...see all the shit thats been recalled in the last couple of months cause there's tons of lead and other dangerous chems in it? Jesus christ...now when I buy something, I look for "Made in Canada" or "Made in America" or even "Made in *inset european country*"
Aside from electronics of course...none of that shit is made in na lol |

Same here...and cause their products are cheap ass quality. Like I bought 2 pairs of panjama pants from there last year, within a week they ripped. Like I put them on and you know how your foot goes into the material and then you adjust it and shit and you get it on? Fuck, after one wash, I went to put them on, and did the foot thing and my foot went right through.
The other time, I was chllin on the couch, kinda nodding off to sleep and I moved my leg and thing ripped length wise...from the middle of my thigh to the mid of my shin.
The pajama pants I have now, dont even have a tear in it and these things have been worked (women trying to get them off quickly and such, you know how we do ) |

The flu is a virus, so medicine other than vaccination wont do shit. Only thing that medicine will do is relieve the pain a bit, but antibiotics for a flu is jsut stupid, It just doesnt help |

Well flu is a nasty bugger, you can vaccinate all you want, but the subtypes change from season to season. You can protect yourself by vaccination, but if you got the flu from some other subtype of virus than you'll still be sick, the only thing is that your body will recover from it more quickly. The only remedy is to stay @ home, drink lots of warm tee, maybe some honey, so that you don't get any other disease, and tough it up

Like I said, I dunno what they gave me. I said antibiotics cause I dont know what they gave me and it was an indication that i received medication that mades me feel better |

I had the flu a few weeks ago, and I passed out on the floor at work for 6 hours overnight. I woke up and my back was super sore. I finished my shift an hour later then went home and slept for basically a day.

How the fuck do you think they'd like it if some dictator country invaded us and tried pusing their government on us. You know what that's called here? Fucking terrorism.
