I don't get the complaints about the mouse controls. I'm able to play it perfectly...
Correcting people since 2007 even if they're not wrong.

I am easily scared by games usually but my expectations for this were too high, with everyone saying it's so scary. I went into it so twitchy thinking I woudl jump at anything. So far it hasn't been that scary, but I'm not too far into it yet. (Fixed the tram blocking the way)
I remember one moment when i killed one of those pink aliens with the dagger arms, looked around adn thought, "Aliens is much cooler than this".
EDIT: I heard the game looks much darker on consoles. I'm gonna try to play around with the monitor and game brightness to see if I can get it to look nice n dark.

Spoiler: | forget the stasis.just aim for one of the asteroids' sides, where the blades meet. wait for them to start moving to the other side, jump and run towards the back of the asteroid(towards the opposite to the side that you're seeing) |

Well,finished the game...on Hard,eh..
The game, once again, gives out some seat jumps like..5 times..specially the ending (i'll talk in SPOILERS later)
Before anything,my specs: Intel E6600@2,4Ghz NO OC,XFX 8800GT 512DDR3,640mhz Core (i think),3GB DDR2 633mhz,ASUS P5K-Deluxe (with wifi thing)
Good facts:
-Graphics: Really great done, all on high quality
-Performance: No slow downs at all, thou the game doesnt goes at 60FPS,it has such a great speed (like playing Gears Of War for X360 or PC)
-Sound: Creeps you out at each corner
-Gameplay: Weapons,Tesis,Telekinesis thing..and upgradeable stuff..Doors that requires Power Nodes are useless,so save those PN.Some seat jumps.
Bad Facts:
-No "Quick Turn"..bad if you dont know if they come from behind (like Resident evil 4)
-Lack of ammo..even if there's lots its for the other weapons, not for the main one wich kicks ass...
-Unpredictable aliens..also hard to kill if they move fast (specially the ones near the end of the game)
-Lack of fear for most of the game..the "Sudden music" moments just helps you evade the danger sometimes..
-Weak spots.."shoot the limbs/arms/legs to save ammo"...yea yea,you waste 2 or 3 shots on the legs, then when you try stomping the bitches out they lean on ya and cut ya..
-The story...(WARNING,FULL SPOILER SHIT-LOAD AHEAD)
Spoiler: | You receive a message from ya ex-bitch Nicole and she wants 2 see u again (what a beginning). You're just mr.mouth closed man called Isaac Clarke...wich you can see his FACE thanks to a bug (Thanks Nforce/hump forum people for SShots) .You go to the ishimura ship and ,following orders..people here n there dying, and u cant save 'em ..Ya mission is to see WTF's goin' on the ship, discovering that the alien origin's from a thing called "The marker"..and of course,u must kick that shit away. Each first word of each chapter says "Nicole Is Dead"..what's this?,everygame bein maked must have a secret message at each chapter?.."Isaac has sex" ..just kiddin..Traitor after traitor, boss after boss you get the hell out of the Ishimura and leavin "the marker" to his homeland...the funny thing is that when you escape you see your Nicole bitch in a corner, holding on the copilot seat (looks like a Silent Hill nurse)..then she suddenly jumps on you and screams the fuck out, high sound included..thx god Isaac held her before she was able 2 bite..but there ends the game..lame ending..isaac should've punched the bitch out! |
My score's a 8.5...could have a better ending

Spoiler: | Punch her? More like cut off her limbs. I'm beginning to suspect that Isaac's actually a serial killer whose trademark is cutting off the limbs of his victims since he doesn't seem to upset with cutting and limbs. In fact I'd have to say he enjoys it.
In fact, I think the first thing that popped into Isaac's mind just after the Kellion blew up and he was faced with a pack of Necromorph's was "So THIS is Christmas!"

Spoiler: | 12 chapters. |
I´m playing hard, still in chapter 6, and don´t want it to finish...It´s just the same I felt playing HL2.
The lack of ammo, even the comebacks seems coherent to me. They´re not as the DMC4 ones. It could have been a bit harder, I´m thinking about playing it again without stasis... .

Is this actually a different version than the clonecd+darcoder crack or is it exactly the same thing? Can we simply put the reloaded crack over the clonecd version?

Also, is the unrated, uncensored version like the NoGRP release?

What are the differences between reloaded version and the darkcoder one? Does reloaded release solve the mouse lag problem?

Dead Space-RELOADED
Dead Space (c) Electronic Arts
11/2008 :..... RELEASE.DATE .. PROTECTION .......: SecuromPACustomSDK
1 :.......... DISC(S) .. GAME.TYPE ........: Action
In the future, Earth's appetite for resources has become a major motivator
for deep space exploration. Immense, privately-owned and operated mining
ships called "planetcrackers" orbit planets and use sophisticated equipment
to carve out entire city-sized chunks of rock, and reduce them to component
elements and raw ore
Communications with one of these planetcrackers, the USG Nishimura, have
ceased while the ship is engaged in deep space mining operations
The company's top engineer, Isaac Clarke, is sent to discover the problem
and fix it. Once onboard the vessel, Clarke discovers that a terrifying
alien presence has taken over the ship, and has horribly killed the crew
Weaponless and terrified, this lone engineer is burdened with much more than
simple survival-- he holds the fate of all mankind in his hands.
