would be nice to know if people with the popup problem , no longer have it with the game copied to the hardrive
my guess it probably will be alot better, but still would be nice to hear

I don't have live access on this connection at the moment, but I'm not sure if I want to risk the installation, anyone tried it on a unmodded 360 yet?

after messing around:
-it's a lot more responsive. much easier to delete stuff.
-the system is a little quieter when you install to hard drive...bearable at least.
-Avatars aren't working for me, says to connect to xbox live for the update, which I haven't tried to do.
-16:10 support is very nice

it has black bars on the top and bottom, but it looks a LOT better for me.

I don't have a BenQ drive lol I beat GTA using my Samsung. But if the pop-ups are gone (for those who do get popups), then it proves that installing games to HDD improves gameplay dramatically.

I have two xbox,s both not chipped. I run them using my profile on a memory stick. Can I update one and not the other so I can have one for live and one for installing games on. Or does the update affect the profile its self.

so once you install a game to HD, if you put in the game disc will it recognise thats its installed on the HD and switch off the dvd drive

[sYn], read my replies. I installed it without reading the previous posts about not being able to access live. I have a non-modded box with a gold account. And now I can't access LIVE. Not even silver access.
