All that stuff can easily be modded the map is the biggest disappointment, I didn't expect it to be limited, Oblivion wasn't after all, and what can limit your movement in a postapocalyptic world anyway? Ugly looking crumbled buildings, bad design choice.

Modded? That's just encouraging Bethesda to be even lazier. Fallout 5 will have one kind of gun for each class and have the modders handle the rest.


And yes, DC area design is shit as well. It's not really open but some sort of Hub system using boring subway tunnels to get around crumbled buildings which you apparently just can't climb over.

After 5 hours of playing and being totally frustrated with the pipboy access...my son in law lets me in on the FREAKING HOTKEY screen.

NOW this game is better than awesome.

Good god, i was just about to order the LE of the game but hearing this... ffs... My expectations were a HUGE DC where you could freeroam to almost every part of the city, but that's not the case is it...?

Also the concept art of the ship in the harbor, is there even a harbor on the map...?

Beth is lazy nothing we can do about it Smile same drill as Oblivion, they supply the engine, modding community the game. The 'Open Cities' mod gives me hope that F3 can be modded into one big map, that was a mod where you couldn't press a button on a door to enter a city but you would just walk in like in Gothic 3 for example, it was a drain on the ram but most people have 2 gigs now NOT 512 mb Mad, I have 4 personally well 3.4 according to win xp.

The ship si there, big as hell, but mostly it is a a set of hallways put together then u are inside.

Lol .... the same happened to me on the ship while i was in some docters room.
The door was standing open when i came in cause the docter was there also ... but then he left and closed the door with me still stuck inside.

I decided to put the wait button.... after that the docter was back and i only had to wait for him to leave...

I just had a black screen while loading after a couple of retrys.
I had the same thing @ oblivion, restart will fix it though.
But whats causing this? annoying bug.

And one more thing, when exiting the game it hangs,
I have to close task manually, whats up with this.

It is powerd up when I got there, just aproche and please the device. You'r in the right building? First entrance all the way to the top, then game loads new location and then up an other level.

One question guys.

After exiting the vault i noticed that in my PIP health screen that my right foot is missing?

Cant remember if its normal or not?

Because if i turn 3rd vision on, i see both legs and foots °°"

You mean the right foot is red lined? Then it's crippeld. Go get some sleep or visited a doctor.

go to inventory/pip-boy, hold 1,2,3... and click on weapon, health packs...

But there is a ledge that looks like you can jump up to it . .But I have tried to do it without success.. is it anyone else that have came up to the ledge? is it something else in that cave except boring ants? and the questions on the G.O.A.T test there is an answer about open a lock with a laser gun.. is it even possible to open locks with a gun?

Cryolator whatever it is supposed to be is in the /Meshes/Weapons/2HandHandle/ folder but quite broken so I don't think it's used for anything.

EDIT: Cryolator.nif looks pretty broken with odd textures and so but CryolatorStatic.nif looks just fine so perhaps it's just hidden somewhere.

Does the game crash when you Alt/Tab out to DT?
Just wanted to do a quick "cap" hack here .
Getting the "CloneDVD" version but IT TAKES FOREVER!!!!!.

Doesn't crash here CaptainCox, last night I alt-tabbed out of the game to watch a movie, then fired it up again, with no issues at all.
Though it may be gfx driver related, make sure you use the driver I talked about in the technical section as it performs very well and without issues.
