Just like in Project IGI. I loved that because the game was awesome. Don't know about QoS, gonna try it later when I get it.

You can save, like other windows live games, you need to create an offilne profile.
Conect to windows live only if you have a cd key.... the multiplayer of this game only works when signed in to a windows live profile.

I'm putting this game aside until there's a solution for 30fps cap. It's unplayable as is for me.

yeah, it was enjoyable for a few levels. after that it started feeling like i was going through the motions without actually *wanting* to play the game. inertia was the only thing pushing me forward, so i stopped. exactly the same thing happened with stranglehold. after 4 levels i just couldn't make myself play it anymore.

i've enjoyed stuff like this as a kid, though, when any game that had things going boom was automatically ok in my book.
yeah, i played a ton of crap Very Happy

Well, I guess kids are the main target of this game, so perhaps they did a good job for that main target.

so far i quite like it...it's no half life, but it's fast-paced and enough for a little fps fix. just the gfx annoy me...i mean, i didn't expect much and the lighting isn't even THAT bad, but it just seems they drove the gamma waaaaaay too much up and of course the gamma slider is missng, damn devs.

btw: great intro theme, anyone know who did that?

It could look like this if it had brightness/gamma slider:

Instead it looks like this:

And I just can't understand for the sake of it why are .cfg files encrypted. Rolling Eyes

played around a bit with the ati ccc settings, now it looks a bit better. or it's just my eyes djusting themselves to the washed out look, maybe a new form of stockholm syndrome, who knows.

that game doesn't just need brightness/gamma sliders, but the wohle photoshop image adjustments tab Laughing

now i'm a bit afraid to play it. if i start liking it and end up dloading a ton of shooters like this, i won't have any spare time left for the good games..

i'll play just one level, to help me get in the mood for fallout again, where i kept getting ripped apart last night Very Happy

it's not bad, actually. gfx get better as you get past the first 2 levels and it plays like the arcade version of rainbow six vegas. other than that, standard run-of-the-mill shooter that hopefully ends before it gets boring.

I liked some of the previous titles with the car sequences and chases. They were just plain fun. I dunno about this being better than those but GoldenEye's saving grace was the Multi.

just finished it - good game, solid 8/10.

only thing that bugs me: for a game that's called quantum fo solace...70% are from casino royale Laughing but heck, at least it didn't spoil too much about the new bond film.
