					| Anyone been able to force vsync OFF? In FA3 Launcher it's off and on Ati CCC (8.10) it's "always off" but in-game still on.

 Don't change the Threaded settings if you do not have at least a dual core CPU.

 Under [General]

 bUseThreadedBlood=1 (default is 0)
 bUseThreadedMorpher=1 (default is 0)
 bUseThreadedAI=1 (default is 0)
 bUseThreadedTempEffects=1 (default is 0)
 bUseThreadedParticleSystem=1 (default is 0)
 iPreloadSizeLimit=104857600 (default is 26214400)

 For those with a 8800 (and other video cards that support Pixel Shader 3.0) find under [Display]

 bAllow30Shaders=1 (default is 0)

 Under [Audio]

 bMultiThreadAudio=1 (default is 0)
 iMaxImpactSoundCount=64 (default is 32)

 Well...I guess i'm lucky, cause i've been playing about four hours and not a single crash or freeze or anything else. Just wanted to check if vsync off would help with that odd lag feeling, althought i'm getting 60+ fps...

					| Tweaking the ini doesn't seem to do much visually the game is just so ugly it has no effect had to go into megatown just to test the shadows becuase there aren't any outdoors, I did optimize the grids and cells for 2 gb of ram and turned on all the double core threads, more bodies allowed, bodies stay longer, water seems unchanged no matter what I do, needs new textures and something similar to the natural mod so it isn't so boring outside like wind blowing stuff, sand and leaves flying or something, I think the engine was better suited for Oblivion. | |

					| Word of caution:
 I also experienced those crashes. Installing the latest NVIDIA beta drivers eliminated the problem for a good few hours. However, after a few hours the game crashed to bluescreen. After a reboot windows apeared broken, in that my graphics card failed to display anything but a heavily distorted picture along with fun colored lines all over the screen. Fortunately uninstalling the driver in safe mode and falling back to the latest official driver resolved that for now. Anyways, you should be aware that this games bugs mean business.
