Ok im a big fan om HoMM serie, this looks like a clone.
What do you guys think makes this game better/worse compared to HoMM ?

HoMM is the clone. Original King's Bounty was released before the HoMM. I prefer this one instead of Heroes.
I gurantee you'll like it too.

Eh, maybe the first Heroes, but the sequels innovated the genre so much that it's King's Bounty that's the 'clone' now.

yeah, i let my troops get killed without loading and trying a different approach, for quite a long time.
at some point i started playing more carefully, but it seems to be a bit late, as i'm running out of the troops that i'd wanna use.

Consider yourself lucky.... im at a point where i killed all possible enemy's ...
looted all chests and gold and nothing left to earn me some money. I just cant get a descent army together anymore cause i lack funds.
BTW ... don't invest in dragons.... i bought all available eggs and gathered any i could find.
Had a really cool army with around 10 red and black dragons. With enough restock on eggs.
The whole army and restock worth about 600.000 gone in 6 or 7 battles

i appyed the patch and used teh old crack. In game it shows the new version, but 1 of the fix-ex doesn't work :
Game does not crash when inventory is re-sorted
it crashes a lot when resorting, something related to EDP protection

Do you get better benefits with the new wifes? Is it worth to get a new one, i have 4 babies with the first one already... I will loose all that if i take a new one, so if i do i hope there is better gains ?
Also what does the moral on the stacksl affect? How many creatures i can have in that stack?

Great news, I just finished KB couple of days ago, and it was the best game I played this whole year. I just hope there is more focused on Orcs, in KB you almost rushed past their land and they were the funniest thing about whole game.

It could be also some small initiative bonus they also get some attack bonuses with high morale, but most importantly it improves their chance for chritical hit. Imo not worth the bother, its better to have best units from each faction, than one faction and bonuses for morale.

Well...there are many fixes in that patch not just the Mirabella bug. Check the release notes.

I got a shitload of BSODs with the old version (graphics driver crashed), I dunno about the patch as I'm waiting for a crack.
