Yes its still on my hdd.
I was thinking maybe it had something to do with the disc's region? (ie. my Gears1 disc is ripped from a PAL source while Gears2 is NTSC)

I have some problems too.
When i first started playing, the game unlocked raam and saw my achievements. But after i played trough the game and unlocked a bunch of achievements and chars, everything just went "reset". i still have my achievements, but like the progress on Seriously 2.0 was set back to zero and so where everything else. also all the chars are locked again. But everything is working and stats are recorded. Motherfucker that is the most fucked up Glitch EVER. Loosing like 8000Kills and 500MP rounds. FUCK.

Completed it on hardcore yesterday. Its not a perfect game, but not that far from. Increased to 9/10 ^^

Stop caring that i care about a few achievements and get a life.
Jez, i can like to get achievements and still have Studies + Job + Sex so i would think i still have a life.

Nothing wrong with achievments. Adds to the game. Some are usually hard to get, which means there is something to strive for. Especially if you are a gamer and not just a casual one.
Replay value and challenge. What gamer in their right mind would bash that?
Anyway, played thru the game. It´s a blast. Wished there were more over ground levels, but one can´t get everything. MP-maps seems solid. Bots don´t really compare to real people though.

Do you have an old burner or did you buy different media then usual (same brand with higher speed can be very different media as well)?

nah same media as usual (from the same pile of DVDR i use these days) + same burner.. just this game specifically fails... my burner is the DVR 111L

One of my achievements was bugged, so I wiped it out to start from scratch and it finally gave it to me. ;P |
