i life in the netherlands, and i find the germans very stange people when it comes to movies and games and that sort of stuff, they always make it completly german, movies, IN GERMAN, games, IN GERMAN ONLY, so if you go shopping in germany, dont buy any movies or games!

played the demo for a short time, even thou i understand some german, i couldn't make anything of it.
but anyway, the stuff that i saw was bad. You had to give instruction to the workers individual and not like the previous game when you said: i want a farm here and that one of your workers build it. This plays more like age of empires, which i hated so much. So for me it's back t o setters 1, 2 or 3

it's just weird/funny that germans always want to dub (translate) everything to their own language, especially games.
whats so great about german language (no offence intended, i'm sure germans would say the same thing about dutch etc ;D) that everything needs to be dubbed/translated?
personally when something overhere gets dubbed in dutch, i HATE it, i can't stand foreign movies being dubbed, it sounds absolutely horrible. english rules.

good luck with japanese, my gf currently works her way through all the kanjis and katakanas... and dude i can tell you, that's one confusing language to learn! (beautiful to look at tho')
anyway, played the demo: Except for not being able to start a free-game but being stuck with those missions i can't imagine retail to be anything but great!

don't mind the culture or what not, if i want to understand something i learn it, and personally i think theres too many "Schrtch" sounds in the dutch language to make me like it or want to know it.
. Theres over one thousand langauges in the world the human mind can only contain a small part of them, so better pick wisely what you want to learn.
