I've had it for over a week. The game is great although the servers are buggy as fuck now that they are finally online. SP levels in the game are amazing.

Not exactly the hardest of awards to win this year on the PS3.

Was there anything actually good come out? My PS3 sits and collects dust.

Its the only reason I'm skeptical of LBP. I never played the beta but it'll be a rent before purchase.

how original.... Rolling Eyes

thought it wasnt that great IMO, but there are many titles that have made my PS3 purchase worthwhile, Warhawk, Skate, Burnout Paradise, MLB The Show etc etc

Really? Because I thought that it was fantastic. As did every reviewer out there who has any credibility and is without stupid fanboy bias. But hey, each to his own.

Back on topic,

Littlebigplanet is great. I've made what I think is a good level if anyone here is interested in trying it. You can find it by searching on my PSN name which is RMF1. The level in question is callled cavern fever. Look out (or up) for hidden areas!

Oh man, this game is such a joy! I was expecting to be disappointed at least a little, but no - this has lived up to the hype and then some.

Anyone worried about how dawdling and soul sappingly boring the platforming looks needn't worry - it's so much more fun once you've got the controller in your hands. The depth controls can be a bit wonky at times but it never feels 'broken', it's something you learn to cope with. All in all I'm very surprised with how much fun it is to just run around jumping (and making numerous faces). I honestly thought it would be pretty shitty, believing instead the levels would be what prop it up - not the platforming elements. So, so glad I was wrong as it's such a charming, well rounded game!

Happy customer here, though the online mode doesn't work for me as of yet Sad

i played this at a mates house, nice game. but the fact that it is goty material for PS3 only speaks volumes for how disappointing PS3 games are. thats why I sold my console, 99% games not worth paying for.

what you mean is like the 99% of cross platform games ain't worth playing on the PS3 because you can pirate them for the Xbox360.

Yep its a good game, only minus is the user generated content at the moment, you cant search properly so if you want to search for a specific level you are searching for like 5 - 10 minutes because you get alot of other levels with similar names and good levels arent being recognized enough so you are playing 8/10 times crap and browsing trough 25 pages wich takes a lot of time, i hope MM is gonna fix that soon or else i am done with this game very fast.

It could do with a better browser but it's not a game-breaker.

I liked the level you made for your daughter - I was able to complete that one Very Happy

The one mentioned above seemed quite good and started well, but I wasn't able to complete it as by the time the cart with four wheels (two on the top, two on the bottom) got to the other end of the map it lodged itself between the floor and the rope - preventing me from being able to climb higher. Other than that I was enjoying my run, I'll try it again and be more careful this time.

On the editor itself I find colouring things with stickers to be wholly unimpressive. It's just not practical and you can see how some community levels creators are finding it just as difficult as me. It really shouldn't be difficult for a paint fill option or something, right? Have I missed that?

Hi mate,

I'm glad that you enjoyed my easy level but as far as the other one is concerned I think that you must have gotten it confused with someone elses because I've never had a cart or any wheels in any of my levels. Maybe the LBP servers were glitching out or something and giving you someone elses level instead.

Anyway, I've revised my Cavern Fever level and it is now complete. Please feel free to give it a go. I think that it is pretty damn good now!

Cheers!
