Exactly, its about how each individual gets attracted or not to the fluff that covers over the initial samey type gameplay.

I've restarted on "Infamous" (Yeah I know you can change difficulty in the game but I wanted to try some other character, doesn't alter much but starting weapons are randomized and so is the "buddies" you meet.) and AI still has some issues though the damage model is much better.
Tossed a molotov on a guy outside a safehouse while another guard stood next to him, this guard did nothing until I started shooting at him.
Also tossed a molotov nearby a checkpoint and fired a few rounds into the ammo container causing the guards to become alerted and running straight into the fire.
They are somewhat stupid and kinda blind but a patch might improve things a bit, once they start working though the AI can be pretty good.
(Until the next time it glitches or bugs out like the above examples.)
Also no matter what damn car I pick up even if it's a dune buggy or whatever they're called those ai soldiers rush into their jeeps and ram the shit out of my own vehicle and I can't seem to lose them by driving away.
(What the hell? do one guy drive and another one man the gun while the rest run behind and push the vehicle in order for it to go faster??)
The one thing i hate the most is the enemy respawning constantly.
I saved a game once near a guard post and when i loaded it again i found myself standing between two guys. And the most peculiar thing in that situation was the guys didn't move an inch. They were just looking at nothing doing nothing. I moved. Nothing so far. Started shooting at them and finally they reacted. I also play on infamous and most of the things JBeckman mentioned also occurred on me.
Stupid AI + irritating respawning = you're doing it wrong, Ubi...
AI is mostly good but that they respawn too often is a bad thing and you should have a slider or something for that in the options so you could tweak it for your self.
(sure, sure the respawning is anoying, sure. it should have whores and more civilians in day-to-day tasks..the AI should be more elaborated and realistic, but.. thats it.)
And, the trainer for setting the respawning time, lets say 3 days would be great.
Played till now only 2 hours or so ... First thing what happened after i repaired the car was that i drove it wrong on the first bridge... I drove it completly stuck .. Damn hated that.
So after walking for some time... i noticed ... the graphics are great but is it me ... or am i really blind or so ... The shadows are great and everything but when i alarm some guards and they start walking i loose them... I just can't find them till they find me.
Sometimes i get shot and have to turn 20 times around my ax to figure out where its coming from. Hate that part !
Most positive thing about this game till now is the fire part.....
I love those fires and how they start and destroy everything on their path !!
i need help pls! i fighted the first guys and then i got shot and fell down on the floor! then i wake up and everything is blurred! in the objectives there stands heal yourself but if i press the heal-button "h" nothing happens? what do i have to do there??? pls help me!

also stealth isn't working, when u kill 1 guy all the other know where you are and when you move to another position they keep on tracking you cause they never turn their heads away from you...

That's complete bullshit. The stealth element is nearly perfect. You can easly pick them 1 by 1 with silenced weapons without anyone noticing.

No, people just bla bla BS. I've had multiple hide and seek occurrences with the AI, where they lose me, and I observe how they search from me, and when they finally spot me, I die (because I just sit there watching).
to get the medicine of malaria, is in the church ?
First batch yes, then you have to get it elsewhere (as part of a mission from the church guy)
And people have to stop talking BS about the AI. It doesn't have x-ray, it doesn't always knows where you are.
Like i said some pages earlier, you can outmaneuver it, and even make them believe you are a whole army lol.
But obviously,if you dumbnuts stay on one spot for 5 minutes, shooting with a unsilenced rifle at them .... but of course AI has to cheat to know where you are ... how else could he possible know ...
The game is great! There are of course a few flaws. They could've made it so that when you get friendly with one of the factions they would stop shooting you on sight. Also the respawining bit many ppl mentioned but that's something that can be fixed in a patch.
All in all it's pretty enjoyable so far.
