Yeah I too wish they implemented some kind of dynamic lighting for the nights because when the sun goes down the game looks really bland.

there you go im getting this fps wiith the settings u can see and my rig 8400 + 4850 + 2gb all in default i think its very good to install the hotfix but only works with much more fps in vista dx10

has anyone encountered some major freeze at loading screen ?? On my pc it's even happening on benchmark and editor. just can't run them..It freezes, i wait for something about 30 minutes and then pc just reset itself :/ I've tried both nvidia drivers (my sys specs: gforce260gtx, athlon x2 5000+ and 2gb ram and Vista 32-bit... so I ask....WHY ??)

Guys i have pretty annoying problem that i had back then when assassin creed was released
every min i have a lockup freeze for 5 sec and then its back to normal....very strange

e6400 @3200mhz
2gb g.skill
8800gts 640mb
nv latest beta driver(tried older on same results)
winxp sp3

settings v.high/high 1280X1024
no AA

any ideas?

Is all your hardware running at safe temps? I've had pausing like that when my graphics card was overheating. If it's happened in only 2 games than maybe that's not the issue.

was this trojan part of a hack/crack to get the game to work ?

That´s not the point. The point is that having only 1 active quest keeps you most of the time moving from one point to another without a planed path, which have not much sense.

And not that desperate...just killing time until GTA IV arrives Wink .

Be aware the latest or beta 180.42's fuck with ur gfx fan.. alot of people cant get it to function right now above 60% stock setting speeds.. My evga precision tool for it doesnt work, but a fresh instlal of the dirvers and rivatuner and setting it to fixed % rate worked fine..

if you would've remembered its name, you could've googled it and dload it separately.

there is only 1 exe that could cause that ... FarCry2.exe which obviously is the cracked .exe so re-download it from wherever it is you download your cracks n stuff.
