just tested it..my rig is:cpu 6550 c2d, 2gb ram, 8800gts 320mb, played on ultra high under 1024x768 and got 30-50 fps driver ver is 175.19
run smooth and graphic is nice also atmospher, but the people looks like crap. BIA soldiers looks mutch better.
till now , the game is preety fun, nice granade explotions and nice blood when hit enemy, nice head shots....i can't complain yet:)

Nah really. Everyone tries to kill you. Everyone. It might make sense if there was an alternate driving route around most of these places, but it seems every road has a checkpoint.
Strangely I never see anyone attacking any of these checkpoints. It's almost as if the only war that exists is the one you started when you arrived.
It's like the game seriously wants to promote public transport, as the only safe and hasslefree method of getting anywhere is taking the bus.

There are 4 hidden dudes around the game world that will give their small little bonus missions. It's nothing special really.

why the fuck does everyone outside of the safe zone want to kill me? is it because my guy isnt black? its funny how ill be driving and then all of the sudden some dude in a pos car will pull up side of me and start trying to ram me off the road for no reason... and why am I not seeing any other people fighting?
this game is 1 man vs africa.

Sounds about right.
And the AI goes from 3 stooges to rambo at the drop of a hat. Player-seeking bullets from a mile away. Unless you happen to snipe someone, wait for his friend to come help and snipe him again.
Great graphics, fun to set shit on fire, but trying to actually play the game is frustrating as hell.

Not really. This low fov issue is because of consoles. But that is how the game was designed, so it doesn't really matter.

if this game wins anything, it will win best hyped game of the year, and then epic fail game of the year... or maybe biggest name ripoff of the year...
what a fuckin disappointment... this game has northing to do with what the original farcry was about... they just used that name to boost console sales...
i would rather have seen another gorgeous, but unplayable @ high gfx 'crytek' farcry2 instead of this ubishit
i know it's too late, but for anyone that hasn't... don't even bother downloading this, save your 4gigs for porn or somethin decent
