wtf is with people popping up every second and saying this isn't the full game?
I'm using the 8800GTS 320MB, I will let you know whats fps I get in an hour or so.

Problem solved. Driver issue. I strongly recommend that nVidia users should avoid the new 180.42 beta. I changed to 178.24 WHQL and all works fine for now.

Set the texture size to medium, that's the major cause for stuttering; with everything else maxed out ( no ultra high, though ) and with the performance options to high the game runs fine IMO.
E4400 @2.66GHz, 2Gb RAM + 8800GTS 320Mb here.

<< using 180.42 beta's and the game on my e6600 at 3.2ghz (2gb ram at this time due to 2 fucking up) and a 8800gtx evga card.
The game auto set to optimal settings and that was everything at max but shadows on very high instead of ultra high..
And im blown away, its montreal studios so really not to suprised, but the game runs at 1680*1050 on my 226bw flawless.. Im still stunned, crysis visuals is like farcry2 and yet farcry2 out performs it 10 fold for me.

the game is EXTREMLY sensitive to high fsbs on my sistem.
for everythin else i'm runnig 9*450 on my e8400 , it passes 4+ hours orthos , multiple vantage loops, basicly everthing possible
BUT!
far cry2 on same settings is NO GO
had to drop back po 433fsb to avoid random freezes...

I have been playing for aq few hours now and the game is a blast. This is like a mix of Stalker and Crysis and it's done very well. To me it's better than the first iner and also better than Crysis. May become my favorite single player FPS of 2008 but i only played about 6-7 missions and side missions so i will still hold my judgement for now.

Just a note, for those with sim specs to what I have and having to reduce texure sizes, have you all tried running ur desktop in standard classic mode, i have vista but dont bother recently using the aero or anything but standard classic mode, due to some drivers messing with the desktop in 3d mode even when u select it not to in compatability mode for your games exe.
worth a shot..

Great game, great sound effects, great graphics that runs smoothly on my rig, many cool weapons, superb map editor.
I don't like the enemy respawn tho, but otherwise a solid and fun game
