This is weird.. when I use the 23kb crack with the clone , the game starts fine but as soon as I click new game and select any character the loading screens come up and then the game crashes to desktop??
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Runs smooth @ 1280x1024 very high (dx9 - xp) on e6600 (2.4 ghz) - 8800gt 512, 2gb ram.

Perhaps a conflict if you have altered the settings in your graphics card panel.
(Disabling or lowering certain options will really impact the visuals.)
EDIT: Might be a optimization problem with the .EXE name as well (Since that's how the game is identified.) rename it to FC2.exe or something and try then.
(Performance will be affected though.)

none of the cracks work. I get only a black window and it does nothing.

for those with black screen issues or other "won't start" issues, it may very well be your pc/os that has a problem (with the game). So for future reference it would be useful to post a quick overview of your pc's (especially OS, CPU and GPU info).

oh shit.. the game is crashing at 1280 x 1024 for some unknown reason
I have xp sp3, geforce 8800 gts 320mb, xfx nvidia 178.13 drivers, bitdefender is on game mode, 3gb ram..
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Alrdy saw some people with the same problem as me.
When i start a new game the game crashed and reboots my system.
Alrdy checked my log files but nothing there that could explain the crashes.
Tried installing the latest drivers but still same issue.
My spec:
e8200
8800GTX XT
2GB OCZ
Windows XP Home SP3

IGN's given the PC version .1 better score...
Right to wait I guess, graphics and save anywhere functionality are two features that the PC takes a lead apparently...
