I was on here like 40 mins ago (been on for a while). Im in my basement and my basement window faces my neighbours driveway. And I was writing a response and I heard a car beep, like someone opening a car door. And I know it wasnt my neighbour cause the guy is asleep by 11pm or so. He's a mechanic and works long hours so he goes to be early and you know, you get to know the patterns of ppl.
Then I hear ppl talking right outside my window.
So I went upstairs, looked out the window and it was dark and saw 2 guys look at me and bolt off down my street and the guy's 3 cars, all the doors were open. So I grabbed my phone, called the cops while knocking on my neighbours door. He came out and flipped and such. So the cops came out and said they had reports that a black car with chrome rims has been circling the neighbourhood all nite. Evidently my neighbours across the street who were partying on their deck saw the car a buncha times as well and I saw what the guys were wearing. And I knew one was black simply because I heard "come, bwoy dem saw us" as they ran. And you can tell by the accent and such.
So the cops come out and all that, buncha cruisers. They came by, got the info, then like 5 mins later we hear tons of sirens and shit on a street close to mine. A few mins later a cruiser comes by a returns the guys wallet (he had like 200 bucks in there, plus his credit cards, debit card and bank card along with his drivers license, health card and sin card).
It turns out the guys in car had drugs (cops didnt specifiy), were drunk and had a gun and one was released a few months ago for commiting a home invasion.
And supposedly, the cops at my local station have been getting reports from all over the area (a few neighbourhoods) that suspicious cars have been driving around at nite. Like slowly driving, headlights off etc and this was one of em.
The cops thanked me and said it was likely they were gunna go high and rob someone as the gun was loaded and in one of the guys pocket. So either they were gunna hit a store or catch some poor dude walking home from a party or his gf's or something and rob him.
Nice to know the cops in this area are fast as fuck. They were at my house in like 2 mins after i called and were swarming the neighbourhood within the same amount of time i assume.
And whats funny is the cops were on my street this morning because a guy who lives across the street, his car had be broken into. So it could be the guys they arrested, or it could be a few ppl. So they told us to keep our eyes out for suspicious cars and call them immediatly (even if it turns out to be nothing) because they suspect its a few ppl doing this.
Anyway, I feel good. Stealing is one thing, drugs is one thing, but guns...guns arent cool and im glad there's one less group of guys roaming the area with a gun waiting to rob shit.

Dude a guy driving around with a loaded pistol is way worse than some guy husslin or some idiot car hopping for little bits of cash.
If its just some kids car hopping, its no big deal cause usually they are stupid and dont know how to get away. If its a crackhead, you wont get the money back anyway. But when someone is going around collecting money and driving around with a loaded gun, thats bad.
You cant compare stealing and drugs to guns....legally, in canada anyway, they arent even in the same family. If you steal say 200 bucks from someone, its called Theft Under (5000) and is a misdemeanor. If you get caught selling weed, depending on the amount you usually get probation your first time (unless its a couple lbs or the judge is an asshole). but a gun, especially loaded...automatic 5-7 years. With good behavior, out in 3 with 4 years of probation. |

either way, I guess drugs leads to robbery, stealing and guns...

as for the first part of the msg, you obviously didnt read what i wrote right. Obviously a crackhead or whomever driving around with a gun is dangerous and doesnt care about the ppl they harm.
I was saying tho if say I saw a buncha kids smokin weed behind my house or on the street, I wouldnt call the cops on them. Theyre just smokin a joint. And as for stealing, thats not cool either. But its not the same as driving around with a loaded gun.
and yeah, they were idiots. I mean, i didnt see the car, but i assume the street lights reflect off the rims so driving with the headlights off is pointless. Atleast if they had the headlights on you wouldnt be sure if they were just looking for someone's house they'd never been to (like invited to a party and you dont know exactly where the house was) or they were up to something. But when you see a car driving around without headlights, especially slowly through a residental neighbourhood, its a dead give away they are up to something. |

Yeah, but alot of black guys listen to the music and dont do bad shit
You can say the same about white guys who listen to metal. I know white guys who are just as bad as any black guy and they listen to metal. Metal glorifies killing and drugs and shit.
I guess im fucked then...im half white, half black and listen to both types of music
And whats funny, the initial post had nothing to do with the fact they were black guys. I said that because i could identify them, thats all. It had more to do with ppl out in my neighbourhood driving around robbing ppl with (or even without) weapons...and in this case the guys turned out to have a loaded weapon

oh im fine with ppl being racist...but have you read the way he reacts when you say anything negative about israel in the world news section? he's a hypocrite if he's racist....its ok for him to take shots at everyone (blacks, americans, europeans etc) but the moment someone comments on israel he goes nuts. Even tho most of the time ppl arent talking about the ppl of israel, rather the government. |

Makes me wonder why they release people that committed a serious offense from jail anyway, they are branded as outcasts, they have a mark on their file and can't get a job, 90% of them go back to their previous 'occupation' then they talk a few idiots into joining, and there's always idiots, like "I know what I did wrong the first time, so trust me I won't get caught by the police again" and the cycle repeats on some pore schmoes head.
Well it's probably cheaper to let them go they just waste the taxpayers money in jail and maybe they are hoping a cop simply shoots them the next time they get caught thus finally ending it.
