The mod above was done by a friend of mine so go take a look and if you like what you see give him a nice high vote! I haven't seen the thing in person yet but it does look ace and certainly deserves a higher score than it currently has!

it looks like a robot next to a monitor, not even a PC. the pics suck, they look like they were taken with a shitty camera phone ... maybe that's why the votes are so low.

I voted 10 because syns request but to be honest, its more like a 6 or 7. I mean, he said its made outta metal right? I take it Syn, your friend hasnt worked with metal that long? Cause I could make a way better robot than that (but Ive been working with metal for 16 years, officially...but unofficially, my dad taught me to weld and fit and craft when I was 8 or so, but I went to trades school when I was 15 and got certified and officially started working with metal for a living).
Still, if he's only been doing it for a few months or a year or so, its pretty good and he should stick with it.

Thanks guys! I'm not a personal favour guy either, please, feel free to vote what you think it is worth if you don't feel comfortable giving it a 10!

Just to explain, the PC is inside of the robots body and it controls a webcam / sound output that speaks when it detects movement. Nothing that fancy but it was made as a project for a metal working course.

Indeed Syco, he has only been doing it for a few months, his experience lies in Animatronics and Robotics but he has never working with steel like this before. This was a project for a course he was taking on metal work, the first course he has had in that kind of thing.

Thanks again guys Smile!

nice, for a few months of learning, its pretty good Smile and if he does robotics and animatronics, he should really stick with it. in a few years he could probably creat some cool ass toys Smile
