hm i saw the official forums.. and i think that's a good thing that we can't use this patch- it renders the game impossible to play- it severely lags when opening chests, merchants, breakable objects, gates- freezes for 5-70 seconds when interacting with them... Laughing

always start at silver difficulty - and is still an easy one.

The devs said something about increasing the overall difficulty in a patch- but in the new buggy one the change log mentions no such thing.

edit: i can't understand all the talk about the workarounds not working..
i have 3 lvl 20-28 characters and it all works. A friend has lvl 35+ char and it still works fine with no distribution of skill problems and drops to the main menu.

And all that with the original paul.dll, cracked slogic.dll and delsecurom

the only real pain in the arse is the constant crashing of various shitty .dlls - but thats also for the legit buyers..

with the original paul.dll there is the trial limit so no more of 24 hour to play. and if u used the paul.dll patched it give the level up issue and with the s2logic file it don't work anyway after the 27 level

Thats what the delsecurom is for, to reset timer.

No, I now know of 5 people with the legit game and none have reported crashes in what must be around 40 hours of gameplay so far. So don't spread lies.

I got one normal crash so far (in S2Logic.dll) while playing (Using standard texture quality.) but the cause of it was due to my character and the latest .2 hotfix has it listed as fixed in the changelog. Smile

there are the patches to remove this issues. think that many patches will be out for this and little a time all issues and crash will be resolved. another crack naturally is need to make work both game and all patches cause this workarounds are all brokens and not totally working. but a real crack is hard to do cause RLD or better VTY have to remove a bunch of triggers inside the exe and then mass effect show

I'm level 27, played 16 hours and revealed 5.7% of the map at silver difficulty. Now, either I don't understand something or the guy that finished the game at level 34 rushed through plot only quests? That would be possible thanks to level scaling...probably possible to end the game at first level or something.

What's the point...

Nope, nothing. Not a single crash in those 16 hours - not protection related nor game/bugs related.
It's all about changing one dll file and using DeleteSecuromReg once a day.

The only bug I encountered so far is that some quests have a life of their own. You take a quest and immediately receive a fail message.
