To repair equipment, you need another piece of similiar equipment (hunting rifle + hunting rifle, 10mm pistol + 10mm pistol etc.). The reason I said similiar, is cause I have a unique laser pistol, and I can repair it with regular laser pistols.

Oh, one question regarding the main questline, a simple yes/no will suffice.

A question about a quest (or not ...)
| Spoiler: | Around the time i had to look for my father in the purifying plant a secondary quest marker popped up on the map which led to Fort Bannister (atm @work not sure if the name is right) where the talon mercs had a base. After i got my father out of Vault 112 to Rivet City i smoked the Fort and the marker disapeared.
The thing is i never had a Quest in my log which had anything to do with the fort.
Did i miss anything ? |
Oh and regarding my post count i was lurking for years here and well i forgot the name and pw i created years ago

Thanks...also, another thing I can't find is how to change the amount of caps a shopowner offers you to barter for a better price; if at all possible?

Don't know if this has been noted already so sorry in advance if so.
Another bobble head in Evergreen mills foundry, market bazaar area. (+10 to barter skill) it's in a small enclave just beyond where you meet the trader "Smiling Jack".
Also if you kill (no karma loss even if you are playing a 'good' character)/steal from jack he is carrying
"The Terrible Shotgun". It's condition is pretty beat up when you get it but even so it's damage is very high.

I am on the quest "Following in His Footsteps"
The guy in Megaton told me to ask Free Dog at GNR, so I travelled to some city and met some Brotherhood people on the way to GNR.
We got to GNR and took down a super mutant with the Fat Man, now my quest marker is telling me to go inside the GNR building but..
"Door to Galaxy News Radio
[Required Key]"
And none of the people around me will talk to me :/
