I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad, The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had.

Tropical islands seem to be popular since Far Cry.

No, if you had ever played JA1 and/or JA2 you'd know that both of them were played on tropical islands.
And these 2 games were out long before Crytek even had the idea of Far Cry.
I'm guess you're under 15 and/or you're not at all interested in classical TB-games beeecause otherwise you'd know this one.

Post Scriptum
JA3d is so going to be on my shopping list when it comes out, this game looks very nice. I really hope they are going to have all the old features of the previous games as well as add a couple of new one. This will be one of the more anticipated games for me.

yeah, ppl really need to find out who came up with what before they say wow, just like farcry. i couldnt imagine JA3/3d taking place anywhere but a tropical island, since, well, an island has been an intregal part of the story since what? 94?
anyways tho graphics look nice. really want to see some beginnings of an interface though, since the interface has always played a huge part in these games. either strip it down too much, or add too much useless garbage and it really could bring down the game. i especially am looking foward to see how they choose to make the TB strategy play out in 3d. Personally I think so far the best implemented system of TB strategy in game to date has been TOEE, and its still keeping with the 2d.
anyways on another topic, anyone reading the SF forums? i really hope the devs arent going to use most of the suggestions coming forth on those boards. everyone there seems to want 2 entirely diff things: one, they want the game to stay the same, two, they want all kinds of changes to be made. ive heard requests from putting in a first perspective mode, to making it more like a RTS, with a base to defend and crap, to making it more like rainbow 6. i say keep the damn game the same, bring it to 3d, work on a kickass story, characters, and theyve got a winner. dont screw with a good thing.
